Recently purchased a pair for a trip to Brazil. I have now had the chance to trek in Brazil and in Northern New Hampshire snow and I’m impressed. I bought these and some Keen water shoes, I have never really been a fan of this company and these where my first sets from them. Phenomenal shoes. I experienced no break in or blisters, they are true to size, and the insoles are super comfy. They performed well and have great grip. They are also light weight.I walked through a stream of heavy rain water coming down a road in Brazil and had no leaking issues. They also decently handled the damp humid environment. They were a little toasty is my only complaint.I returned home to northern NH and below zero weather and just as impressed. Warm, great traction, and no wet feet.Keen is a great brand. Highly recommend these!

Very light, feels good on foot. Waterproof, I have purchased multiple Keen boots/shoes and love the fit and wide toe box. Will purchase again.

These boots were comfortable for me right out of the box. Plenty of room room for my toes to spread some while hiking. I wear metatarsal pads for Mortons neuroma so I have a difficult time finding shoes that have a wide toe box that can also handle the added padding and wrap that hold the metatarsal pads in place.i look forward to the shoes loosening a little more so I can get a thicker sock to when it's needed. These boots have a very supportive heel that keeps your heel in place but still allows my ankle to flex when going uphill. I'm planning on staying with these boots for a long Grand Canyon hike next month.**********UPDATE***********Completed R2R with these. The boots performed like they should and my feet are appreciative. No blisters (teamed up with the Sockguy's wool blend,thin sock) or hotshots. I began having some pain due to the Morton's neuroma about 10 miles into it but I was able to easily adjust and pain subsided quickly. The interior boot lining did hold the sweat in more than I'd like but I'm willing to sacrifice that for the ankle support and protection, as well as the flexibility of the outersole to allow my feet just enough flexibility to help my feet work as they should. It's been 48 hours since the hike and just some calf tightness and sore hips. I don't think I can blame the shoes for that.

I take a 2E to 4E width. I typically buy Altra sneakers and boots because of the wide toe box and zero drop. While these Keens aren't advertised as very wide or zero drop, they are remarkably so. I find them wide enough for me and without much of a heel to toe slope. They are serious contenders with Altras (for me). Like Altras, they fit great right out of the box. Walked around the house for an hour to be sure and they are very comfortable. I haven't tested the water proofness yet so I can't say if they are. The toe has a rubber bumper guard and I like that for protecting the fabric which could otherwise rip when I run into things (which I do often). These boots are very light weight. Traction seems very good but again, I walked in the house only so far

I thought they were great right out of the box but after wearing them for about an hour , I realized that the bottoms felt a bit hard so I replaced the KEEN insoles with some new softer ones that I had on hand. To me , it was like night and day and now I love these boots. OH , I should mention that the low cut on the rear of the left boot seemed to be digging into the back of my ankle but after stretching it back and forth it got as comfortable as the right boot . Now I'm perfectly happy with these boots. Waterproof , I don't know and don't plan on wearing them through puddles or standing water. I will probably wash the car while wearing them but I am also going to spray some water proofing on them which might help if they are not water proof or I might be just wasting my spray water proofing.

I bought these boots to hike around Grand Teton National Park, they are comfortable fit well has good grip and make your feet stable. I feel like they zero drop shoes and almost made me feel like I was on my minimalist shoes. However, I was disappointed as it got puncture under neat the outsole by a small, treed branches under the snow, crack the outsole, and water got into my left foot. I doubt about material make of this boots that claimed they are waterproof. I wish Keen would find a way to have rubber covered the whole outsole to prevent this issue. Overall, they are better than average boots

大雨の時に長靴は歩きにくいため、防水トレッキングシューズを検討。以前使っていたローカットはくるぶしから浸水することがあったので、ハイカットをチョイス。また、スーツにもどうにか合うまいかと、黒っぽい色を探した。もちろん歩きやすさも重要視。keenは今までもいくつか履いたが、ハイカットは初めて。が、やはりkeen。今までと同じく良い履き心地。とにかくこのサイズにしては軽い。ソールも適度な柔らかさ。大雨の時に履いたが、しっかり水を弾き中に入った様子はない。水溜りもなんのその。トレッキングシューズ全般に言えるが、ツルツルの路面では滑りやすい。そこはもう仕方がないので、自分が気をつけるだけだという認識。また、編み上げのハイカットなので、パンツの裾が少し引っかかる。これもまあ仕方がない。それらの欠点も補い十分仕事をしてくれる靴と思われる。なお、私の足は、テクシーリュクスだと26.5か27を選択し、更に中敷を入れて使用。そのため、スニーカーは大き目が良いとのセオリーに沿って27.5をチョイスしたが、丁度よかった。もちろん、スーツに合うかと聞かれると苦笑いをしそう。だが、営業職や銀行マンでない限り、通勤時の快適さを考えると見た目は二の次でいいのではないだろうか。ちなみにオフィスにオフィス用の革靴は用意しているので、そこは切り替えをしている。(そもそもスニーカーは通勤時用途限定)総じて、良い靴だったと言える。靴は事前に履き心地を確認することをお勧めするが、keen製品が足に合うことがわかっていたら、雨対策にお勧めの一品。少なくとも私は雨の通勤の嫌さがひとつ解消された。あとは、被りたくないので、願わくばあまり売れて欲しくない。苦笑

I love the color and the Keen durability. They are very light, feels like wearing a tennis shoe but with ankle support.I believe they run a little narrow compared to other keen products.I have a wide foot and they felt kinda narrow at first. But they have broke in great.I do wish the laces were a little longer and that the tongue went all the way to the top on the sides so they would be waterproof all the way to the top. Even though it's a mid, it's really like wearing a waterproof tennis shoe. The laces are solid and will untie themselves if you don't double knot them.

It seems hard to believe that hiking shoes can be this luxurious and comfortable!!!I have had keen boots before they make great quality product and with these they have upped the level again!!!I believe the bright yellow and black insoles are the key to the superb fit these Boots give with a wonderful contoured design 🤗They strike that lovely balance of plenty of toe room and snugfit!When you walk in them for the first time it's like you have your favourite slippers on, the comfort level is amazing & the heel strike delightfully cushioned and spongy 👍And also the outsole on the heel is flared out giving great stability...noice!If you are moving at a decent pace you feel like you are springing along on a sponge!!🤙🤙I haven't given them a real good go in the rain yet but I do believe they will be waterproof.I think they can be a little bit warm though after using them for a bit but in the winter they should be absolutely terrific ⭐The lace up system is simplified too so quick to get on👍The Konnect Fit system around the heel is a brilliant idea and I believe it works very well!!That certainly was a great invention by Keen ⭐⭐⭐ hip hip hooray!!They are quite light and I do dig the the green colour very cool 😁I would not class them as very serious hiking boots but for the general walker around town & a bit off road....They are excellent!!!🤙🤙
