seems like a well made pack for big hikes and short over nights. however, the framing sqeaks and rubs and makes a lot of noise right by your head anytime you make a step. it drove me crazy quick

Okay, this bag feels stout. The materials used are not cheap, the zippers are sturdy. It's great for about a 3-4 day trip - backpacking Or traveling.Has plenty of pockets for organization, the color is a beautiful deep grey with purple accents.Comfort - my wife struggles with back and hip issues, and this bag did not aggravate those issues as her previous bag did. It's adjustable for your torso length and, it is easy to customize the right fit for yourself with all of the straps and adjustment points. It's a great bag and a great price.Kelty did it again, I'm certainly willing to purchase another kelty bag and become a Kelty brand fan.Sorry, Osprey. Seems like Kelty has won me over.10/5, highly recommended.

I bought this for a 3 night 4 day primitive camping at Dry Tourtugas . We were only allowed one tote, one , cooler and one backpack. It got everything i needed in it. Later I used it as a carry on for one week in Idaho. I got my knee highboots , clothes and a lap top in it . It was a lil heavy to my liking but worked well for my needs. It is roomy and built well. Fits my 5’2” frame.

This pack had a lot to offer, lightweight, lots of pockets for easy access. Unfortunately it was too big for my 5’3” frame.

I use this backpack primarily for airline carry on...providing you don't overfill it. Great open front design coupled with a number of zippered pockets makes it great for airline travel. Pack is light and we'll made

Kelty knows what's up. I need a weekender bag that will fit my laptop, laptop accessories, clothes, toiletries, and snacks. The Redwing is perfect. Had my last one 12 years, and travels on 3 continents, until I finally caused it to blow a gasket. The partial frame and hip resting belt will let you carry a veritable ton of weight without breaking the back. I look forward to another decade+ with this new one.

I like the quality of the bag and side slots it has which are big enough for water bottles, umbrellas and much more. The main compartment has enough room to pack stuff for 4-5 days of hiking or activities. It has a nicely cushioned belt and over the shoulder belts which is adjustable. I haven't used this bag, only because the internal frame makes it a little bit heavier which is not helpful if you are going for 7-8 hours of a hike in the mountains. Since the bag is of a superior quality and I received it for a better price due to ordering "Used" one but the one I received didn't look like it was used at all. So, I decided not to return it instead, I gave it to my cousin.
