I pulled out these bumpers out of the packaging, I have a standard sized 2per waverunner. These were not designed to actually protect your watercraft. I would've left a more favorable review but after only measuring the bumpers to the ski and immediately repackaging and sending back for a return, the seller charged a "damaged item" fee. The bumpers were never even used, they were in brand new condition when i sent them back. I've noticed more and more sellers attempting to do this to extort amazon customers and it's getting to the point where we may take some of our shopping elsewhere. I genuinely hope Amazon reviews these cases and gets rid of sellers that behave this way.

These are nice to have in addition to the bumpers that attach to the rail. Good quality

The shape of these are good for a jet ski however, they are too lightweight so the bounce around and shift too much. It would be great if they were weighted at the bottom to help keep them in place. The quality is ok but not great. The rope is stiff and hard to tie. Not sure they are worth what they are charging.

I do like the larger size which offers a larger area of protection even in choppy water. I initially used it with my jet ski and it worked nicely even when it shifted around due to the waves. I also used it on my boat once and again it protected it from hitting the dock. I'm not sure how durable the material is, it's somewhat thick but is already creasing and shifting a little, it hasn't gotten damaged yet but I'm concerned of the longevity, time will tell. It did take me a few tries to figure out the best way to attach the rope but once I attached my own rope it works nicely. The rope that came with the fenders is a stiff nylon almost plastic feeling rope that was very hard to tie so I used some of my own marine grade ropes. They do fold down but are still somewhat large to store which is expected since they are larger bumpers.Overall they do the job from hitting the dock with different ropes.

very good, protects the jet ski well, easy to install and use, also works well on small boats

I have a kayak called an Ascend 133x. It’s basically a 13 foot hybrid between a kayak and a John boat. During a trip I took to a campground on the Florida state line a while back, the wind picked up due to the seasonal transition between late August and early September; it became an unbeatable force. I had my kayak sitting along a rock bank beside my campsite. The wind was so strong that it was driving my plastic kayak into the rocks. I kept thinking about how I had seen different kinds of boat fenders for sale while outfitting the kayak, but I told myself that the kayak really wouldn’t need them because I had already installed rubber bumpers (meant to be used as stopping bumpers for trailers) in a few different areas. However, it turns out that even though said bumpers are effective at protecting my kayak from directly bumping into things, they are installed at the top of my kayak, and do not provide protection for the lower portions of it. I soon realized how wrong I was to think that additional fenders weren’t a priority to own. These fenders, combined with two smaller traditional style fenders (that I’ve been using with them), would have been exactly what I needed to keep my kayak completely safe in that situation. These fenders work great for my boat and for my needs. They just hang off of my paddle mounts on the right side of the yak. I also pair them with two traditional style fenders that hang off of boat cleats, as previously mentioned. So far, the fenders are showing moderate wear from sitting between my kayak and a dock for several hours (on fresh bodies of water) with wind blowing upwards to 10 MPH. The kayak weighs roughly 300 pounds when it’s loaded down with gear as well, so it’s not some light, 50 lbs. piece of plastic. Wear can be seen on the body of the fenders, but that’s expected, of course. But nothing of real concern. My boat is properly protected and these fenders don’t make near as much noise as the traditional ones do (when they’re rubbing against other objects).I am satisfied with their performance, and the best part is that they are easily transportable. So when I go on trips far from home (like where I found myself on that windy day), I can be sure to bring them along to avoid other similar situations.I would like to thank Amazon for allowing me to be a part of their Vine program. For our particular dock setup these are the best bumpers I have tried. The jetski was always going under the dock and scratching up the plastic bits or getting jammed under the jetski as the traditional and smaller bumpers would slide out of the way. Saw these and figured it might fix my particular problem. They absolutely do! after one summer the jet ski has not once ended up under the dock being scraped up.They still look pretty new after a few months of use. They are being used on lake superiors , so the jetski ids only out on the water for a couple months, so I expect these to last many years, and will get the same ones when they eventually need replacement.Note my use case has no waves as it is used on a lake. Boats do go past and cause wake, but its not going to be the same experience if you are on the ocean.
