Just arrived today, I slipped a battery in, turned it on, and focused. Wow! it works way better than I would ever have expected. A whole new world to discover.Just been examining a dead fly, you can see the compound eyes, the delicate structure of its wing the hairs on its logs. Focusing on 3-d objects is a little tricky, but doable. Good sharp image.

Product Quantity of the microscope is not as expected and some of the parts are quite loose when tuning the zoom. The view result is also not full satisfactory. Overall not recommended.

...does exactly what it claims. I bought it for the kid, but I'll probably keep it for myself.Though the price is on the higher side, the build quality and plastic quality is good. The view is clear and "zoom" really works well (sometimes need to re-focus). The image quality is excellent (not outstanding). There is some fringing, probably due to the type of lenses used. I'd recommend it with an A+.Bought it after seeing the seller's video on YouTube.

Crystal display! 60x for this tiny microscope is amazing!The only wish is, if it could provide a platform, my neck and eyes would feel better after using it for a while - it is so fun to use it to observe!

Clear, bright & powerful lens esp. w/ built-in l.e.d. sometimes too bright when using fresh battery, esp viewing white/shiny items. Downside, no brightness adjusments on light. Good for basic science projects or d**king around. Insects are gnawly to look at!!!
