Does not snap into place in the reservoir. Any suggestions as to what to try next? Don’t understand why filter was not included with the Kuerig.

We recently purchased an older Keurig at a yard sale to use for back-up. The day came that we needed a back-up unit. Needed the filter. Ordered through Amazon. This unit fits better than the taller filter holders. Assume it works. Coffee tastes good.

I have hard water that clogs up my old Kuerig. I’m late to the party i suppose, because I didnt even know these existed until I bought a new keurig for work and it had one in it. I’m happy that they offer it for the older machines. Thanks
