I git two, haven't programmed the second, but the first one took the programming perfectly. It's been about a week. The locksmith warned me that non OEM parts are sketchy and may last 2 days, could last a year. Bad part-the panic button is slightly raised so every third time or so going to start my truck, I set off the alarm. My alarm is LOUD and scares the crap out of me every time. So, good luck. If I was to do it all over again, I'd just find a locksmith that does OEM parts. Costs about 200 bucks total.

Works as it should although it said that it supported remote start and it does not. So I’ll have to buy another with remote start. So that’s kind of frustrating.

Received 2 keyfobs today and immediately went to my vehicle to program one of them. Programming went smoothly and key accepted programming. It now starts the vehicle, and locks/unlocks the doors as normal. The key fits perfectly and all I have to do now is cut the manual key to match the truck.Overall, very happy with the purchase but will update based on long-term performance.

I received 3 key fobs for less than $25, took them and the vehicle to a locksmith, got them all programmed and keys cut, and did it all for about $150. The cost of getting a single factory key fob and programming is anywhere from $300-$600. This is an excellent value and requires only a little time and expense. I had an excellent experience during the entire process.

I purchased these to replace my old ones. My factory chip fit right in and continued to use for my truck. Dealer ship tried selling me ones for hundreds of dollars because my old rubber was fallen apart. Worked like a dream.

They arrived early and are well built. They come ready to program. Great value for the money.

So I purchased these (non-OEM) Key Fobs thinking I could possibly use their casing for my existing Key Fob and not have to reprogram but they are a different design internally so that wasn't an option. I brought these to ACE Hardware (which programs a lot of Key Fobs) and they went out to my truck, installed their OBD Scanner, entered truck information, but their scanner software indicated it could not program these keys. I then watched a YouTube video, purchased an OBD2 Scanner (VGate iCar Pro BlueTooth 4.0 OBD2), paired the OBD2 Scanner with my Android Phone, and downloaded an OBD Scanner App (OBD JScan) onto my phone. I followed the YouTube steps precisely and the OBD Scanner App gets to a point where it asks you if you want to purchase the License for the Vehicle's VIN ($25) - if you Opt not to do this, you won't be able to program the new Key Fobs so I went ahead and paid for the Licensing Fee for the OBD JScan App. Now here's another wrinkle, it turns out the OBD JScan App updated their software since the YouTube video was made so the steps through reading your existing Vehicle's PIN is the same but programming the new Key Fobs was different and the OBD JScan App instructions are pitiful, so I had to do a fair amount of guesswork and trial and error before I finally discovered the correct sequence. At that point, I was able to program both new Key Fobs. I then went back to ACE Hardware and had them cut one of the Key Fob Physical Keys ($25+Tax) just as a backup. Note: I've tested both of these Key Fobs in the Ignition and they start the Truck (2015 RAM 1500 Crew Cab) and the Door Unlock and Lock buttons work just fine (I haven't tried the Panic button yet). Oh, and while I was sitting in my 2015 RAM 1500 Truck for 30-45 minutes with windows down in 93 degree humid Florida weather with my head down going through instructions, my neighbor stops mowing his Lawn and comes over to check on me because he was concerned I was having a seizure or something; now that is a good neighbor!

These worked great. Took them to a local automotive shop and they were able to reprogram the key for the truck. Still working great and we’ve been using it for about 6 months or more.

if you know your 4-digit pin and you have a decent scan tool, programming takes only a few seconds. insert key, hit program on scanner and it’s done. for a few dollars, any locksmith can cut your new key.

Purchased these to replace the failing key fob for my 2017 Ram 2500. Called a mobile locksmith and got them programmed and keys cut in my driveway for $180 all in for both fobs. Way cheaper than what my local hardware store wanted ($249.00 for ONE) and I would imagine much much cheaper than a dealership. Plus no time taken off from work and I didn't have to run all over town to get it done. Not sure about longevity yet, but considering the savings and the convenience even if they fail in a couple of years I would do it all over again. Realistically, you can't expect OEM quality for $15/each anyway so even if they're half as good as OEM they are way less than half the cost.

I programmed the keys myself in 5 minutes using the app Jscan and a compatible OBD code reader found here on Amazon. They worked for just over 4 months error free, then both within a month of each other stopped working. When the 1st one died, I checked the battery and tested over and over again and got no response. I did find that the battery would drop from 3.2 to less than 3 during testing, which had me believe it was toast. But today the 2nd one wouldn't work when I got back to my truck. This time I HAD to use the key to get in, and then tried the key to start and it worked. Checked the door lock remote buttons again, and now they worked again. So I put the 1st one back together, tried starting the truck, and it resynced as well. It appears the keys loose their sync to the computer or such, and by starting the truck with the key, it resyncs them and all good again. I think the battery draw was from the key looking for a sync to acquire. Also, I installed a remote start, so maybe pushing the remote buttons so much is causing an issue with it unsyncing from the truck....I don't know, but they're both working again after I almost threw the first one out!

AVOID! How irritating! Ordered and waited over the weekend to find that what had arrived were just two empty key fobs, no electronics or battery inside..completely useless and not as advertised. The advert clearly states : “2 x keyless entry remote control remote key fob with electronics and battery”. I had read that some people had received empty fobs but the majority of reviews confirmed they were complete so went ahead and ordered..what a farce.
