For the money, this is not a bad unit. Unfortunately, I had to return it because it was too small to accommodate my 3 door keys. It is easy to use and set your code/pin number.

The back of the box has four holes pre-drilled which are covered with a thin layer of pre-cut foam to keep it watertight. However, my safe had one of those holes not covered so I had to glue a patch on it. Also, while the shackle has rubber sleeves where it touches the outside of the box, they do not fit into the holes and the shanks are too loose to stop water getting in.

Easy to set up code and can be used in padlock mode or fixed to wall. Have used both methods. Great option for key safe.

This key lockbox does exactly what I need. It has a simple and sturdy design. Setup was easy and it took seconds to calibrate it and change the passcode. It is great to keep an extra pair of keys in here just in case you lock yourself out of the house. It gives me peace of mind when leaving the house! It fits my keys perfectly and it will be useful for any future emergencies.

I recently locked myself out of house. It was so stressful. I was afraid to hide an extra key outdoors somewhere. Then I thought about a lockbox. I found this one on Amazon at a great price and it makes me feel more at ease. Seems to be a very sturdy lockbox. Instructions were very easy to follow & set up. Thanks. I setup on my porch hung on an Iron ornamental rail! YAY!!! 😃

I was a little sceptical of this for the price (£15.99 at the time of review), but I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality so far.The box and hanger feel very sturdy, the combination wheels and closing mechanism have a nice feel - the wheels "click" nicely onto each number and the box closes with a satisfying "thump". Providing the wheels have clicked onto a number, the lock stays shut (I could open it when a wheel was "in between" a correct and wrong number but you can definitely tell when it's lined up correctly). I'm sure it wouldn't stand up to a determined effort to force it open but then again, not much would.Instructions are easy to follow.Everything you need to mount it comes in the package. You can "hang" the box on a ring (not sure why you would), or mount it to a wall using the included screws. There are two plastic "lugs" that fit into the holes for the hanger if you decide not to use that.We will be using the box to store a key in case we need someone to get in for the dogs (in an emergency). We can give trusted people the combination and have instructions in wallets, phones etc. to contact them in an emergency. We won't leave the key in permanently, just need to get into the habit of putting it in if we all plan on being out for a while.I can't comment on how waterproof it is yet, but having keys in a bag would help. The photos on the product page are quite misleading as to thesize. Internal dImensions of the box are 7.5cm x 6.5cm x 3cm and is big to easily store multiple keys, instructions etc.*** Update ***I checked inside after a heavy shower, and it was dry so a thumbs up to being waterproof!

I'm using this indoors as I have had several medical emergencies requiring EMS to access my apartment. My neighbor has a key and is always willing to open the door for the emergency responders, but she may not always be home when needed. This way I can get help quickly when needed. The lock is very easy to use and hangs nicely on my door handle.
