Insert slider bar into Slider Lock left or right side as desired. Install set screw at end of slider bar from screw provided.
Align slider bar to door track opening.
When positioning lock, ensure end of slider bar is aligned outside of door track and mount using screws provided.
Mount Slider Lock to edge of door.
Line up slider bar bracket to slider bar, and install 2 screws.

I've always been nervous about break ins to my garage while I am traveling or at work. Finding this and installing it gives me much peace of mind! I have a security camera pointing at the door, but that doesn't do much if you can't physically lock your garage door! This is so easy to install and use, anyone could do it. It feels very sturdy and secure. I will be using this all the time.

This Keyless Garage Door Slider Lock allows for a very quick and easy install on most garage doors allowing to securely lock the door from opening. It comes very durably built and hopefully will hold up on the exterior well in our salty beach air as time progresses. Essentially it's a 4 combination lockbox over a garage slider lock that can be mounted inside or on the exterior. It makes more sense outside however and is pretty convenient. Install was very easy and requires drilling holes into the garage door itself. Here you or the installer will need to do a good neat job to securely mount it as it can be ripped off a cheap door if not done right. It really does work great having the ability to have it on the outside but boy is it pricy compared to a regular slide lock. The unique approach of having it on the exterior is great but standard slide locks are about 1/10 the cost and similar lockable products are still cheaper. Other than that I do like the product as it's very helpful and seems built well.

This is a beautifully made garage door lock that offers extra protection when I am out of town or just feeling like I need the extra security 24/7. It's heavy in weight and in it's class: truly built to last.One person I live with is disappointed that it's not a computerized lock and he will have to get out of his vehicle to "fumble" with the numbers to line up the proper combination in order to open it then open our garage. My standpoint: sure, our garagedoor manufacturer says when something goes down and electricity is out indefinitely that the garage door won't be able to be opened manually (in terms of nefarious individuals trying to break in or much worse.) Do we really know this? Have we tested it? Do we know of anyone who has tested this and recently? "Nope" to all of the above. I'm sorry but with the world getting more and more kooky each day, I'm cool with getting my rear out of my vehicle to unlock a reliable, durable, and strong mechanism if it means I can sleep better at night, ESPECIALLY when out of town.Highly recommended. I think it just depends on what you truly feel is "convenient." Convenience kinda takes a backseat when it comes to choosing the most durable and trusted security equipment!

I ordered a new product and received a used product that was missing parts. I was looking for something to use as an exterior lock. This only works as an interior lock. It does appear to be sturdy if you're able to use it on the inside tracks.

This code protected, slider lock will prevent anyone from opening my garage door without the code. Very easy to install and program. Appears to be heavy duty and rust resistant. I travel a lot and store many toys and tools in the garage. Peace of mind and comfort knowing my gear and car are safe inside.
