it is a bit pricey, for a sacrificial piece of glass to put on a lens, but if you can get it on sale, its really well made and super great.

Nice thick and sturdy lens protector. Bought this after seeing dust accumulating on my sensor and got this to help. It does not cause excessive glare on my lens and in pictures. The material is a hard metal and a nice thick glass. While being one of the cheapest, the materials are sturdy and feel long lasting. Don't fall for the $40 scams when this one is perfect and works wonders for protecting my camera and preventing dust from ruining a shoot.

This filter fit well. No issues with quality and I don't see problems on photos. Doesn't affect the color but if anything it adds a little more clarity.

I've bought hundreds of UV filters over the past few years and K&F has some of the best filters for the price. Honestly, after getting some duds (not multi-coated, or plastic not-so-fantastic), I stick with K&F now. The filters that I buy are for a research project where we have cameras deployed in harsh conditions (arctic to hot deserts) and these filters act as the barrier between the camera innards and the outside world. Even though they're exposed to the elements, these filters have tough coatings that last years under adverse conditions. They're thin, though, so you do have to be careful if, like me, you're removing them from their mounting rings and repurposing them. I highly recommend!

I have may lenses and all have K&F Concept 49mm MCUV Lens Protection Filters on them (These are the standard ones in the silver box). They protect my front element from getting scratched or damaged from rain, or ? and do not interfere with the image quality what so ever. A very fine product at a very fair price !!The quality from the 37mm to the 72mm is all the same and all top notch --- I highly recommend

I think the K+F Concept Nano-K is a good value for casual shooters wanting protection from the elements, pets and fingers. Not much image degradation compared to B+W or Hoya HMC and (with microfiber cloth) sea spray and sand are easily wiped off. However, the knurled "non-slip" ribbing on the filter ring prevents some of my lens hoods from attaching to the camera. The HB-6 for the Nikon 24-70, for example. Not a huge deal but have never experienced this in 40 years of photography. And I want to relate an experience which does NOT affect the rating but is going to make me reconsider using K+F filters. Today, I dropped a lens onto concrete from chest height. It's been a couple decades but I've done this a number of times. Previously, every time the filter hits the ground first, the filter shatters and the ring deformed. B+W, Heliopan, Hoya, Tiffen behaved similarly. Today, the K+F filter (pictured) did not shatter nor become deformed and I believe it transmitted more force of impact to the lens than if it had shattered. The focus ring of the AF-D lens is so stiff it will no longer autofocus.

a high-quality addition to any photographer’s gear. Designed with 18 layers of multi-coating, it effectively reduces reflections, glare, and UV light, improving image clarity and protecting the lens from scratches, dust, and fingerprints. The ultra-slim frame minimizes vignetting, even on wide-angle lenses, and ensures compatibility with most lens caps. Installation and removal are easy thanks to the precision-threaded design. While the filter offers excellent optical performance, some users may prefer higher-end options for professional-grade photography.
