Started long exposure photography so I thought I’d give these a go. They seem to be of good quality and had no issues yet. For the money, I think they’re good quality. Recommended.

This solar filter seems well manufactured and provides nice photographed images however it is of questionable safety when it comes to glass based observations. The included documentation indicates the degree of UV attenuation is not defined and should probably not be used with mirror type viewfinders. While this does not mean it is unsafe, it does not mean it is safe either.

I was able to photograph a partial eclipse. The photos didn't turn out very interesting, but that's my fault. I'll try it out for some sun-in-frame silhouettes.Quality is fine.

Bought just for the eclipse, but I've also used it for photographing sunspots. Great quality filter.

Picked it up for solar eclipse but good for solar stuff in general.

As a black and white photographer this is pretty good reasonably sharp only slight vignette. Colour cast is over the top so take a look at my color upload if your want to do colour, because i honestly wouldnt use this for colour shots. Ill upload one out of camera jpeg and two of my bw edits to give you an idea of what it can achieve. I mostly shot around f5 to get between 1 minute and 4 minute exposures depending on your lighting, if you want longer like 5 to 10 mins, stop down a bit and you'll get there. Set your focus up before hand and switch to manual before yoh put the filter on. Way too dark for auto focus

This filter is pretty amazing. If you look through it inside you won't see anything. It is made for sun photography. Very nice addition to my collection. Thank you!

Great quality product, I didn't get to use it as planned because it rained during the eclipse, but the filter is good lol

Took some quick photos of the sun less than 30 secs total during clear mid day on Sony 200-600mm with 2x teleconverter at 1200mm. No damage to sensor, I’ll get one with a proper UV/solar filter infused glass instead to take decent photos to stack. This filter should work safely for 1 hour after sunrise and 1 hour before sunset.

This is for the K & F 82mm ND100000 filter. At the end of the description it says that this will need a 95 mm size. This is confusing. I am not sure what is happening with the description . This is an 82 mm filter and fits an 82 mm lens. Taken near sunset with Nikon P900 and 67-82mm adapter rings. Works great for me.

Screws smoothly on and off which was very helpful when totality came and I was able to take the filter off quickly on my Sony FE 24-240 lens with a 72mm front element. The eclipse shot was taken at f/6.3, 1/2000 sec, ISO 100. It also worked well when taking everyday photos of the sun and seeing sunspots. It actually works with standard photos although a normal daytime shot needs 10,000 times the exposure of an unfiltered shot. The second photo was taken with f5.6, 6 seconds, ISO 3200.
