The quality exceeded my expectations. Price-wise it's fantastic for what you get. This light stand is not a cheap aluminum or super thin walled steel piece of garbage, these remind me of the good old C-stands in the way they are made. I just wish it came in black. Want more!

This stand is exactly what I needed for my content creation setup! It’s heavy-duty, durable, and well-made—everything feels solid and sturdy. The spring-cushioned design ensures smooth adjustments, and I love the 1/4” to 3/8” universal screw adapter, which works perfectly with my strobe and LED lights. I’ve had no issues with it so far, and it holds everything in place securely.

I didn't realize just how large this stand could telescope to, nor the collapsed size, which is just slightly too large to fit in my light stand duffel. That's my fault though and not a fault of the product, which is excellent in use and absolutely blows away the light stands that shipped with my lights. It's considerably sturdier, can hold more weight and the fit and finish is worlds better. It has a sort of rough, unfinished metal look, which grew on me after a few uses but I probably would rather have a solid black finish if I could pick. It's easy to set up as well, the knobs lock-up quite strong and don't feel like they'll break when being tightened like my old stands and overall I was pretty impressed with how well-built the stand is. I didn't think I needed aftermarket stands but after comparing them, it's a no brainer and makes for a worthwhile investment if you do any kind of lighting work regularly.

Finally a light stand that isn't lying when it says heavy duty! I wasn't sure just how many light stands I'd end up having to return after being mislead by a listing that said heavy duty. This one is the real deal. It's got a pretty sturdy feeling construction, somewhat rough in parts, but definitely going to last. It locks strongly in place when tightened even when supporting a heavier light, and is extremely well balanced. Even with a large 90cm softbox and 150w led light it doesn't want to tip over at all, and that's with the legs opened in the most compact way they can.This stand fits my needs and my space perfectly. Given how well balanced it is you would think it's extremely heavy but it's still lighter than a C stand. That means I can easily lift the whole thing with the light on top to move it around as needed for filming. Which also reminds me to mention that this thing is super tall! It can reach the ceiling in my space easily and that's all I needed. K&F doesn't miss, this stand is a beast and way less expensive than the rest. A couple of these are all you'll need for your studio!

This is a very passable and workable light stand. Not exactly what I would build my kit with. The tightening knobs are easy to use and have a good tension on them. They hold well.I wasn't a fan of the thinness of the metal for the legs portion. They feel hollow and if you squeeze the center there is give. Having owned quite a bit of light stands, this one feels like it's bad tip or drop from either bending or shearing at the seams.Outside of the legs, the rest of the light stand is fine. As mentioned above, it's not something I would build a studio or a kit with, but for a single light stand or a first light stand it's good.
