Great hook for the price, the only issue I encountered is the silicone grip will slide down. I have had to put the nose of the hook on a hard surface and grip the silicone and pull down to slide it back into place. I have had to do this several times throughout my projects. It has been increasing in frequency since the silicone seems to be expanding the more it slips. Other than that issue, the hook is comfortable in the hands and performs well, it is a soft silicone and not hard. The hook has handled the abuse of me slipping it back into position 50+ times and it has not bent or broken. I did purchase a second one to see if it was just a manufacturing issue but both hooks experience the same issue with sliding. The issue of it slipping started about a week after I purchased the initial hook, and about the same time duration for the second hook. The metal component of the hook goes through the entirety of the silicone wrapped handle.

The handle is sooo good. No twinges of carpal tunnel, no thumb strain. Will be buying more in different sizes.

I have been crocheting for a very very long time and I have never once spent money on the name brand hooks the cheap ones are great! Knitting needles I do buy the name brand the cheap ones broke! This hook is great! Nice and smooth glides through the yarn and so comfortable to hold with the nice rubber handle!

I’ve been crocheting for many years. This is the best crochet hook I’ve ever had. So smooth and the handle is so soft. No more getting stuck or jabbed by a hook that is rough!
