I got these nets to keep up with my escaping parakeets.The size is just right to capture them without hurting them.The handle extends for reaching up to them on top of the curtains.I also used the net with my niece to catch minnows on our last camping trip.These nets are a great value for wildlife management.

My kids have been wanting water nets to “catch” fish in the lake… I’m glad I ran into these. For one, I have three kids and for two, why is the internet full of butterfly nets? These are such a cool color, it’s lightweight, and it works great for my 5 and 7 year olds. Definitely must have for kids during summer lakeside fun!

The grandsons and I won't be hauling in "the big one" in this 10-1/2" diameter bucket-style net. But they also wouldn't be able to lift a net big enough for a trophy fish. These are colorful and useful with soft netting that won't injure a fish for catch-and-release. I love the telescoping handle that retracts for storage while the net folds completely flat. Well worth the space it takes up in my camper.

I picked this 3 pack of expandable nets for our little explorers to catch butterflies, lightening bugs and other flying creatures.Once we are able to get back to the lake we will also give these a try in the water.They are really nice looking and appear to be well made. Each net is different in size and coloring but each do what they are meant to do. As for catching bugs I believe these will have years of use, but not sure how long they will hold up to the use in water. They seem to be well attached to the aluminum ring but think they may wear out quicker with that kind of use.The expandable arm is great! Works as expected and is easy to adjust.Overall I am pleased with these and they are grandkid approved. The kiddos are ready to go exploring.

We use these nets to catch crawfish in the creek for the kids to look at, and they haven’t even gotten nicked! The crawfish on several occasions have tried to claw at the nets, but the taut material hasn’t been affected at all! I love that the net is stiff so it stays open, making it easy for kids to catch things all by themselves!

The colors and design for these nets make them really attractive for the kids. I like the quality of the telescopic handles and extending their length is easy and feels secure. The handles are similar in build to the handles of rolling carry-on luggage: a lightweight metal of some sort. The handles are a decent rubber with texture for grip.The actual net, however feels like a light plastic mesh. It is attached to the frame all around, sewn to something like the cloth on a zipper. But the plastic meet itself seems a bit thin. The net is big enough for the things the kids will be trying to catch.Overall, for kids use at the beach, these should be fine and we'll enjoy using them for as long as they last!
