This is a game changer for videoing with my Nikon D3300. I wish I had known about this a long time ago! The battery-like part slides easily into the battery compartment and the cord is super long so that I can move my tripod into many positions without having to unplug and plug in camera. I'm not using a battery in the studio any more, just this dummy battery, which is saving my battery life for outdoor use.

I love this item. Now I never have to worry about switching batteries or charging them. It fits great on my camera. I am now able to use my camera for Live-streaming. Plus the price of this item was right.

Easy to use, work well even at -10°C. At this temperature the cord became a bit stiff but it work. Nikon D5600 camera.
