The design aesthetic sold me on the crate, but it is not easy to assemble like they show in all their videos. The mechanical design needs work. It is hard to line up the tabs of the front and back panels. After a great deal of frustrating fiddling around, the last part is to open the front door to the crate. The hinges of the door are very wonky and require a lot of trial and error to open and close the door - each time I open /close it - must go through the same ordeal each time. All the marketing hype makes it seem so easy - IT IS NOT.

Meant for traveling but is not easy to assemble each time want to use. Yes compact and light when tore down for travel but that is it.

This crate is exactly what our little guy needed! After outgrowing his smaller crate this medium size fits him pawfectly! It was easy to assemble and the folding feature is going to make it a breeze to travel with so he can sleep in the comfort of his familiar den! Highly recommend this adorable and well made crate!

This crate is adorable and is the perfect size for my 7 lb cavapoo. It’s much lighter than a wire crate, making it very convenient to transport in comparison. When I’m not using it, I can collapse it to store easily, but it is very durable and functional in my small apartment. Plus, the dog bed it comes with is soft and my dog enjoys sleeping in it. A little $$, but not bad considering the value it offers

Updated Review: 10/11/2024 The founder of this company reached out to me and extended a full refund. KindTail also explained although the plastic seems flimsy it is very strong. I appreciate the explanation of how it was designed in order to fully collapse and to be light enough to comfortably transport. I was offered the size up but declined because of space. This company will work with you and make good on all their products. I am changing my review to 5 stars because they work hard on customer satisfaction.Not only is the product flimsy for the price point, the recommended size was uncomfortable for my dog. I was unable to return the dog crate because I missed the return window by a few days. I would not recommend this product at this price point. Not worth the money.

I love these crates! They are so easy to assemble and break down for travel. I also think they look more like furniture than a crate which great. My only complaint is that my 10lb dog was easily able to rip apart the pad that comes within the crates. I was so thankful she didn’t chew on it and choke but as nice as the pads look, for the price I would hope they would be more difficult to rip apart.
