Used it to dig a 12" deep trench for low voltage wire. Worked very well in our extremely rocky ground. Fit perfectly on a Kubota sub-compact tractor. Tractor had no problem pulling it.

I'm using this marvelous tool to loosen soil, remove rocks, roots, and vegetation. It works great, easy to put on and very effective. The only thing I need now is a rock picker upper :).

The shaft on this sodbuster is too short for use on a compact tractor. I installed on my Kubota 2601. This sodbuster barely scratches the ground in the lowest position. It might work on a low-slung subcompact but it’s worthless on a compact tractor even when using R4 rear tires

This works awesome! I have mounted it on my Bx2680 and it tears up the soil with no trouble. I have used it to dig trenches to bury my downspouts and to trench to bury underground dog fencing. Big time saver. You could plow garden with it as well but it wont look the same as with a single bottom plow. This will save your back from digging.

Used this behind a 20 horse John Deere 750 to plow up a 2 acre plot that has not been touched in prolly 20 years worked great other than needing a little extra weight on it. A few cinder blocks did the trick.

Ordered this sodbuster/subsoiler from Amazon which is fulfilled by Northern Tool. Was disappointed with the design and finish quality of the implement. It ships with the frame separate from the pins so you have to install which is no big deal. However the frame is a simple channel iron cross and the holes that have been punched for the 3-point lift pins are so close to the inside of the channel that you cannot get a wrench or a socket over the nuts which secure the pins. Got around it by wedging a screwdriver between the channel and the nut and then using a punch to turn the pin from the "outside". In my opinion this is thoughtless design. It is as if the mfg never assembled his own product. Also the two holes for the pins are not punched in the exact same place. Poor manufacturing quality. It is such a simple device that I'm going to keep it to avoid the hassle of return but I will avoid King Kutter products in the future.
