These paint sticks are great for bringing out the creativity in all ages. They were a great hit with my grandchildren (ages 4 & 6)! I highly recommend these.

I bought these out of curiosity. I draw a lot and prefer using professional water soluble pencils and markers over paint and brush. Naturally these sounded appealing.I really like how the paint feels when being applied. I know that sounds odd but it was notable. The colors are vibrant. I probably will use their 12 original colors (it says those 12 are lightfast) along with my other materials sort of as a supplemental material. They are thick so I found detail work to be unnecessarily tedious but loose large color applications work great with these.I really enjoyed how they worked on one of a kind thank you cards our family likes to make. They worked wonderfully for that.I like them! I’m glad I bought them!

I bought the "Chunkies" brand of these years ago and we adore them and use them daily BUT I wanted something that was a bit more "pen-like" for my older child and these fit the bill. The colors are so bright and the quality of the color is great! If you happen to have a budding Picasso, understand that these will draw on your walls, other, windows, pets.....🙈#askmehowiknow but it's nothing a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser can't handle!

I discovered tempera paint sticks last summer and they are wonderful! Bright, vivid, and once dry, completely indelible! By happy chance I discovered these are BRILLIANT to use as highlighters because they will not smudge ink on printed papers the way highlighter markers do. My one problem was that the original tempera sticks have a really large tip and precision is very difficult to obtain. I searched for a thinner paint stick and found these and they are perfect! Using them as a highlighter: The first pic is shows how well they highlight on printed computer paper. The top green mark is made by highlighter marker and has smudged a bit but as you see, the tempera marks do not smudge one smidge!Another bonus is it lays down a great deal of color and once it dries (in about 1 minute) you can write on top of your color like I did with the Happy Day circle (in ballpoint and marker). You can also "paint" on top of any pen/marker words or images you have made with bright, seemingly opaque color (see the Junior/Senior Circle image ) and again, no smudging! Of course, you will have to play around with what you personally use but I would think these would work with most pens and markers.I am attaching swatches for you to see how the colors look on white and black papers (the colors are more vivid than my camera caught on the white paper) and you can really see the sparkle of the metallics.I love tempera paint sticks and am so happy to have found a thinner paint stick to have a bit more control over where I lay down color. I highly recommend!

We were gifted the bigger paint sticks for my 2.5 year old. I ordered these ones for me :) Especially useful for a child as they’re water-based so no staining. The colours are brilliant and the paint has a nice smooth consistency. Awesome gift, especially for children.

These paint sticks are great and are requested almost daily by my toddler. She particularly loves the metallic colours in this pack. At 2.5 years she is able to use them completely independently.

Very nice for my 5 and 7 years old kids. Set has transparent pigments, I personally wished it was opaque, but my kids didn’t care much. To get color visible on black paper, kid had to use white pastel allover the paper.
