This is an excellent lure box. I use it for baitcast, not fly fishing. It is just the right size for use on my kayak, not bulky or taking up a lot of space, and even floats. Seems durable and well made; barring stepping on it, I think it will last a long time. Plenty of space for lures and rigs for a days worth of fishing, but this is not a primary tacklebox.

I use this for baitcasting lures not fly fishing. Works great - fits small lures and things like rooster tails. Small size but can carry a lot of lures. Fits in the pack nicely when walking to a fishing spot.

This is my 2nd box from Kingfisher. I also have the large streamer box and both of them are awesome. This one is just right for organizing trout streamers or even some of the more compact musky flies. It's less bulky than the large box of course, so it would be a better choice for throwing in your pack and heading up stream for the day. The molded case is good quality considering the asking price, and the foam is also nice and dense. The latches work great. I don't think you could find anything better in this price range, and it's even on par with some of my other boxes which cost 2x the price. Overall a great box that does what I need.

I love Kingfisher's gear selection - I picked this box up and have migrated all of my larger saltwater streamers into it. I liked that the foam is pre-cut, and also includes an additional panel with adhesive pre-applied, giving me the flexibility to decide which side I'd like to install it on. It's plenty roomy on the inside, so I feel like my streamers are enjoying their new home.

This fly fishing box is very good quality and super sturdy for long term durability when being used out on the water. It has two very sturdy sliding latches which have an area to place your finger for easily unlocking the box and large strong hinges on the back. The handle on the box makes it very convenient to carry unlike other fly boxes that usually don't even have one. The foam inserts on the inside of the box are thick and very sturdy for securely holding your flies. There is an extra foam insert with 3M adhesive tape on the bottom for adhering to the top outside of the box for securing wet flies to until dry. The style of the foam inserts I ordered has a combination of slots for streamers as well as small flies. The foam does have a chemical smell to it just like other foam products which should somewhat dissipate if the box is left open for a while to air it out. There are legs on the bottom of the fly box for standing it upright when needed. Based upon the quality, sturdiness and great features of this fly box I recommend it to all other fly fishermen out there.

Nice large hard plastic box to hold plenty of flies for a day of fishing. The locking latches are smooth and easily worked. It even has lops for a external lock if needed. The box itself is good sided but lightweight. The inside is big and roomy. Plenty of room enough to handle a variety of flies from your smallest to very large. The extra foam piece comes with sticky backing that can be affixed to the outside for faster access while fishing or a safe secure spot to dry your flies after use. This box is sturdy and will fit nicely in a day pack so you won’t have to limit yourself when trying to pick what flies you want to take with you. Overall very happy with this fly box!

✍️ This yellow colored fly fishing storage box is just the right size for carrying around a fly collection for a long fishing trip. The material is a hard thick plastic like a tool box. The foam is firm. It let's you hook and unhook your flies very easily. It can store and organize flies of all different sizes. The size of this box is a little too large for hiking daytrip type of fishing expeditions. I usually end up leaving this box in the car while I store the flies I know I will use in a tiny pocket sized fly box. Any fisherman would love having a box like this one!🏗️Design: 9/10💪Durability: 10/10🤖Functionality: 9/10💰Value: 9/10Star Rating :5⭐ - Product Exceeds Expectations4⭐ - Product Meets Expectations3⭐ - Product Meets Expectations with Minor Flaws2⭐ - Product Meets Expectations with Major Flaws1⭐ - Product Does Not Meet Expectations🙏🏻Thank you for reading my review❗

This is a great box for streamers, mice and frogs, or large dries. It's small enough that it can fit in a day pack or the back pocket of a vest while big enough to fit enough large flies without causing issues with storage. This comes with an additional foam pack to place on front of the box to dry out your flies or have them ready for quick switchout. The box is sturdy and very well made. It locks shut using slide locks on the top which move easily enough but not so easily they're liable to open up accidentally. They're also big enough to grasp with gloved hands without losing dexterity in case your streamer fishing is a fall activity. If you're worried about opening during transit you can even slide a padlock in the handle to keep it shut.
