After 27 years, it was time to replace my crusty old glass fireplace doors. I could not believe the price on new ones. The one I really wanted was $3,500. The cheapest one was $2,400. Both would have looked really nice but not worth the money.I found the Kingson on Amazon. It has nice large doors with magnetic closures that work really well. I didn't want a pattern, so this look is simple and does not draw attention. It works great and at $74 justifies saving thousands.Take a look at the photo. It looks elegant! Excellent purchase. I'm a satisfied customer.

One year later and the thing is pretty good. The door is open and close and stay closed with a magnet. There are two clamp on feet to keep it from falling over. One of these feet kept falling off, so I tightened the thumb screw even more but then the little tab bent over and broke the weld. That’s pretty cheap. They should’ve welded it from the other side. Same effort but stronger.

The screen we attached to fireplace wall as i did not like the original screen idea to be placed on a floor.

We have three dogs and didn't want them near the fire. This screen fits flush to the fireplace and the doors stay shut with magnets. Easy to open and toss another log on.

This screen came quickly, was easy to put together (despite the microscopic print directions), and was the perfect fit for my fireplace. I like the magnetic closure & the fact it went flush against the marble surround. That said, it’s pretty basic & seems pricey for what it is. All I kept thinking as I was putting it together was that the Chinese have to be laughing all the way to the bank.

STURDY : First of all, is this sturdy and stable? Yes. The weight is quite nice, it has adequate leg support that it feels safe. You can open the doors without tilting the entire unit. The doors are magnetic close which is a nice touch.DOORS : Doors are nice because you don’t have to move the entire screen every time you tend to the fireASSEMBLY : Almost none to speak of. The legs come separate but less than 5 minutes to assemble.QUALITY : It feels well made but time will tell honestly. So no representation there.LOOKS : 8 out of 10 for me. The body is excellent. The curve on the legs is a tad old school.

Built the first fire six weeks ago. Today the tiny spot welds on legs failed. Maybe made 20 fires. Totally disappointed with product. Will need to find someone that can weld legs. It did look and work well up until now.

Nice screen, but didnt include the door handles and support legs. Hope to receive these soon from the seller, considering this item cost over 100 bucks.

I didn't want anything fancy or too large. My hearth is small and this screen fit perfectly. It comes with two additional feet which keeps it nice and snug against the fireplace. The doors have just enough of a magnet to keep them closed, yet when opening the doors to add more logs, the screen does NOT move around. Love it so far.

Ordered for our outside brick fireplace. It is a simple modern no frills design, just what we were looking for. It is made well and seems stable. The magnets on the doors work well. We will see how it holds up to the outdoor elements in MD.
