I let a curious child use one of these, and they were disappointed that they could not suck any juice from an orange. I'm not sure if they are made exactly like the ones I had as a child or not.

I used these to remove seeds from jalapeño peppers prior to stuffing them. Works really nicely removing all the seeds. Works better than the more expensive gadgets
