I’m so thrilled this filter wrap worked for my application. I have a 2015 Mustang GT and recently installed a Roush cold air intake. My car started to give me trouble in the rain due to the hood vents and the insulation liner underneath the hood getting soaked. The foam seal that’s around the intake box itself did not help, unfortunately. My car was dying, having issues starting, and would go into limp mode. It through MAF codes, and at that point I went ahead and cleaned the MAF, but knew that it was the rain/ wetness causing the issue. The water was getting on the filter and moisture I believe was getting to the MAF as well. Cutting the liner probably wouldn’t help because the hood vents are directly over the filter itself. I could get a new hood, which may be an upgrade later. However looking for a filter wrap was the best thing I could hope for in working. Upon looking for the size I would need, I had a hard time finding, but eventually bought this one, and it fits perfectly. I am waiting for some rain, so I can really put it to the test, but for now, I’m happy I found something.

Why didn’t I buy this sooner!! This fit my K&N CAI on my 2004 Ford F-150 with the 4.6 V8 perfectly I’ve had this CAI on this truck for 15 years/243,000 miles now with the same filter. This “filter sock” would have saved me a lot of time and effort cleaning the filter in the past but will help now going forward.

Fits perfect over my AF Dynamic CAI on my 2012 Tundra. Drive through lots of mud and water on the roads of Louisiana. No mud on the air filter and the water beads right off of the cover.
