I can't understand why more oil filters don't have a nut for ease of removal. If you have ever fought with a oil filter that didn't want to come off you will praise the K&N design.I cut my oil filters in half at oil change time and I was pleased to see the quality didn't stop on the outside. IMHO best filter for the money!

you can usually only find the chrome version, but Amazon carries the black version that I use on my VRSCDX.it's much easier to remove and install due to the nut welded to the top of the filter. The V Rods being a German engine need a high-quality synthetic media filter, and this is a good choice for ease-of-use and quality with synthetic oil products.
