Ordered this because the local store didn’t have one. Not sure how the actual filter compares performance wise, but the orings are terrible. Good luck getting the little one on without breaking it. I’ve been changing my own oil on this truck since new, and I’ve used other big brands like wix, motorcraft, fram, etc. All of them had considerably higher quality O rings than this filter. I know the little one can be a pain, but even still this is the only time Ive ever broken it. The filter itself seems fine, but if you choose to buy it, I honestly think you’re better off just leaving the old O rings on instead of using the included ones. Kind of a let down, I’ve always known K&N to be good stuff, although I wouldn’t be surprised if (like literally everything else) the quality has gone downhill over time.

It’s a great filter, the only issue I had was the rubber seals that it comes with, well the small rubber seal came apart when trying to install it. So I had to go buy another filter just to use the small rubber seal from it. This was the first rubber seal that had ever broken on me. Other than that everything was great.

So far so good. I wish the dang o rings were not such a pain to get on but otherwise it’s a simple easy to use filter. I’m feeling indifferent towards this filter. Not yet convinced it’s worth the upcharge for the fancier brand.

Easy install. K&n quality. Had no problems with orings, though the little one is tight, so not a good idea to use sharp tools for install, I installed without tools.

Contrary to what Amazon says, this fits the 2.7 F150. It's made from thick material and seems to be premium. Includes 3 rubber o-ring gaskets. It's made in Korea. Probably the best filter made for the F150.
