The only time I ever needed a 40.5mm filter before was for an old 1953 Canon 50mm LTM lens. But I bought a 17mm Chinese Lens for my Fuji cameras and it needed a 40.5 UV filter. This is not my first Kodak filter and with high quality Schott glass and the coatings used, the optical quality of the Kodak filters is as good as the much more expensive German filters. The aluminum filter ring is fairly standard and fits well, plus Kodak includes a cleaning cloth. Instead of the usual plastic filter case, Kodak uses a unique round metal can that looks like a miniature movie film can which adds a little fun.

I bought 3 46mm kodak from amazon for my Olympus 12f2 25f1.8 & 17f1.8The quality is great, easy to clean, and not easy to get any fingerprint on it.Price is great

I like the Kodak 77mm UV Filter with Schott Glass because I am old school photog who likes the protection of an UV filter on all my lenses. I like that it is multicoated. The item received new and unopened :). Item received on time. Thank you.

This is a nice substitute for a more expensive B&W. It s a Lyle warm but not objectionably so. Good packaging. Good knurled rim. Easy installation and removal.

I was doubtful that this product would even be acceptable, but, it has exceeded my expectations. It is clear and doesn’t cause any noticeable distortion with my 10-24mm lens. I’m glad the Kodak brand name is being used for quality products.

Bought for a protection for my Sony 24-70 2.8 lens. Nice piece of glass, very thin and clear. No degradation of image quality in day time; in some night cases there might be flares but is slight, rare, and is within my acceptable range.

These Kodak filters are pro quatity at an unbelievable low price point. I've been buying these for all of my Canon L lenses. If you're using filters the glass should at least be of the same quality as your lens. These filters meet that criteria with clear optical transmission and superb multicoatings. 5 stars.
