This is one product no model builder should be without. If you want to bring out small details on a project this is the product to use. I used it on my F14 Tomcat and the results were astounding. Even I was amazed by the result.

This is one of the standard inks for artists, illustrators, comic book inkers, etc. It can be used with everything: dip pen, technical pen (rapidograph, etc), brush, and airbrush. It is quite black, but not at the level of Talens or Sennelier. The viscosity is thinner than either of those brands, but it isn't quite as thin as Ultradraw. This means you might have to be a bit more picky about papers, but the ink will flow smoothly. Ultradraw has less clogging but also a little less water resistance. If you put a small amount in a container, ensure that the container is waterproof as this ink will dry quickly to a rubbery residue. It's a delight to be able to buy the ink in a large size instead of the smaller bottles. You will save a ton of cash if you use a lot of ink.

Great ink for my technical pens. Note to seller: Good thing you wrapped the bottle of ink in layers of plastic because without any other cushioning, it leaked – fortunately no ink escaped from the plastic to ruin the other items in the envelope. Need to box this product.

I also purchased a 32 oz bottle of Chartpaks "Higgin's" waterproof pigment ink and I like this one better. besides smelling different I find this one bleeds much less when used on cheap copy paper. I have not tested for water proof in either ink because that is not something i require. drawing ink is made of such few simple ingredients that I think these prices are higher than they need to be :(That's why I bought several bottles of the 32 oz when it went on sale for 36 bucks each . now I can draw to my hearts desire and experiment freely without the anxiety of seeing a bottle quickly going empty.

I have used this ink exclusively since the ‘80s.. it’s a very dark black that’s quick drying and waterproof. It is an excellent ink to go with the Rapidiograph pens…

I've been using Rapidograph ink forever. It's the only ink that works with my technical pens, as far as I know. In my opinion, it's the best.

Love this ink. Super black and smooth. My one issue with it is it can't stand up to an eraser if I'm trying to erase.lines behind it. Besides that great. I plan on using it with a pentel waterbrush pen for inking comic pages.

I've been using Koh-i-Noor Rapidograph pens for technical writing on paper since 1973. For the larger point sizes (1 and above) I don't see a whole lot of difference between the Koh-I-Noor and other brands of India ink that I've tried (Pelikan, Staedtler, Higgins, etc.) But when I use the finer pen points (00 through 4x0) I have found that this ink is the best. It remains dark black (not washed out grey) and flows beautifully. I've stuck with 3060 and 3080 ink for over three decades and see no reason to use anything else in my application. Hence the five star review. The shipping of this product by Amazon, however, was another story. The bottle was simply placed in a bubble-padded paper envelope and sent on its way via Postal mail. When the envelope was received it looked fine on the outside so I opened it up...and still-liquid ink spilled out on my hands and onto the floor. I'm in the Denver area (over 5,000 feet above sea level) and the originating warehouse must have been at a lower elevation because (you guessed it!) the pressure differential forced about a teaspoon of ink past the threads in the cap (which was tight) and all over the bottle and the inside of the envelope. Fortunately the envelope contained the spill and no ink escaped during transit. Had it done so, and the permanent ink spilled on other mail during transit, I'd wager that the Post Office would have been irritated enough to have a chat with Amazon. Postal regulations specify that liquids shipped by mail must have a separate, sealed bag to contain the contents in the event of a leak. Amazon failed to do this - no inner bag, just the loose bottle to fend for itself until it made its break for freedom in my living room.Again, please note that this shipped from an Amazon warehouse, not the listed seller. I contacted them to let them know about this and while they were very nice, polite, and understanding, they couldn't help since they did not package the shipment. They have been around a long time so they know of the postal regulations and package accordingly to ensure this sort of thing doesn't happen. So, if you buy this product and it's packaged by Amazon - open the package with care...and preferably over the sink :-)
