Yes, there are cheaper fuel filters on the market, but if you have a quality engine like Kohler, why fool around with cheap replacement parts that don't hold up very long? I just ordered one as a spare to have on hand after changing a clogged filter that lasted over 3 seasons of twice a week mowing. To me it's well worth paying a little extra to have spare parts I can count on.

Our tractor kept stalling out with half tank of gas still left. Did a little research on the internet and decided to order the gas filter from here. Fast shipping easy to install and was the identical filter for my cub cadet lawn tractor. Fixed the issue as well.
