Impressed by the design of this breakaway kit. This includes everything you need for a functional breakaway setup. Quality plastic housing controller, battery, breakaway device and cable. At current price of $46 it is an impressive kit at a budget price. Would purchase again and recommend.

I never had nor did I think I would need such a problem, until the drastic reality set in the trailer came loose and departed the truck. Luckily in doing so as it rolled along the highway eventually going into the ditch and it didn’t hurt or kill anyone. From that moment on, I knew I needed this product. It was somewhat easy to install. Definitely gives a piece of mind. In testing it it works as advertised, I just hope I don’t need to use it in real life. it’s a super cheap insurance policy that you didn’t know you needed. Without question worth the cost.

This break away kit is a solid unit and provides plenty of power to the brakes in an emergency. The mount box is very rigid and should hold up to many years of weather exposure. The battery is easy to access should it ever need to be replaced in the future. The break away switch is much like all of the switches and is easy to mount and rugged and come with plenty of cable to attach the switch to the pulling vehicle.

This breakaway battery is an absolute need if you are hauling a trailer with electric breaks. This particular battery is sturdy with a waterproof container and sealed buttons, unlike some others. This unit came fully charged with nice crimped wire ends and the breakaway cable. It has convenient installation instructions on the top for anyone how may need some assistance on their first install. Great product!
