I tried elevating the head of my bed with risers to deal with my reflux issues, but there were things about that weren't satisfactory. Using this pillow was a bit stressful when I tried to keep my entire torso on the pillow. For some reason it was bothering my lower back. And I would wake up and found I had slid down a bit and then I would push my way back up on it. After a while I gave up doing that and I just have most of my torso and shoulders up on the pillow and it's worked out fine so far.A problem I'm having now is that the textured surface, which keeps you from sliding off very easily, gets picked up from rubbing against it. I can remove the cover for washing, but I'm going to have to deal with the threads that are picked up. If they could come up with a surface that is a little bit textured but doesn't get picked up so easily, that would help.Another reviewer said something about a pillowcase for it, but I haven't found that. Is there an additional pillow case that fits the extra wide wedge pillow?

Took 24 hours to inflate to full size. Very soft comfortable zipper up case for easy removal to wash. More on the firm side. Bought as a post surgery pillow

It takes time for head to adjust to different pillow heights. Its a balance thing. So far I can now sleep on my left and right side. I mostly prefer sleeping on my back. This probably sounds crazy but I have a small window that my head needs to get sleep. My neck is straight as a board from a car wreck. Was in my VW bug at a traffic light in 1969 when I was hit from behind by a much larger car doing 55 MPH (no skid marks). Driver chose to get some sleep at the time. High back seat was ripped out of the floor. VW was like a pool ball making a right turn down the side street. Seems funny now. Well I just need some tweaking to find that sweet spot sleeping on my back. This wedge is nice and firm compared to my previous one. I like the cover the sponge is in. It's kind of nice that I can sleep on the sides again. Feels like I'm getting to sleep faster that way. No equilibrium problems that way. Sleep is good.

I have an injury to my leg and it's ongoing I use this to elevate my leg My bed is a queen size it's a little bit oversized for my bed cuz the length of me pushes the wedge pillow off the bed have my bed was extended additional 3 ft I'll be fine. Also use this as a pillow and also use it to sit up in bed to watch TV this product is somewhat pricey quality is good durable comfortable I feel I have this for a long time before it may need replaced it does come up with its own cover. If you plan on send this back don't open the package cuz once it expands your number get it down to size again if you take it to a UPS store they're going to charge you an armament leg the air seal the bag. And that's not a cheap thing a friend of mine went to UPS store and it had them down size a bed and it cost him $ 457.00 just a return of bed back to the shipper but this was not Amazon but just making aware

I put chased 2 for my queen bed. Liked the height but they were a total of 4 inches too wide. Wish it had said it didn’t work for a queen bed.

I need to sleep elevated due to my acid reflux. I chose this pillow because it is the width of half a queen bed. Who wants to balance on a narrow pillow all night? Not me.It’s wonderful. Firm but comfortable.Saved me spending thousands on an adjustable bed. Portable…I can use in our camper.I use a half moon pillow to support my head and my body pillow under my knees or pulled up through my arms and legs when sleeping on my side. Sleep in comfort all night with this trio.Made bed is slightly irregular but decorative pillows help hide the wedge.I want my husband to buy one but he’s not convinced yet.

The problem I have is I slide down the pillow.. I cannot sleep directly on the pillow because the material irritates my skin. I purchased the accompanying pillowcase, so maybe the pillowcase is the issue. I go to sleep high on the pillow and when I wake up my head is at the lowest point of the pillow and my feet hang off the end of the bed. I don’t know how people sleep on this pillow. I have severe gerd and need a wedge pillow to keep me elevated. This pillow doesn’t work for me. I wish I knew what to do to stop sliding off the pillow.

I first purchased the 12" high cushion, (Much too High) but returned it for the 7.5" high. Love the wide width, which allows me comfortable sleeping as a side-sleeper, who "flip-flops". Also, the bottom of the cushion fits flat to the mattress, as other Brand styles showed it more raised up. Comfy fit with my favorite pillow. Quality and Price are great. Gave 5 stars for all three features= Pain relief (REFLUX), Comfort, and Value for the money. Hope this is helpful. I always rely on Reviews.

I bought this for someone coming home from the hospital who needed to sleep with his head elevated. This turned out to be a good substitute for a hospital bed. Some tips: After removing the wedge from the box, let it expand for a full 48 hours to get the full expansion. At that point, it will feel kind of hard if you immediately try to sleep on it. I recommend sitting on it and putting weight on it all over, even abusing it a bit, to get the surface a bit softened up for sleeping use.You will appreciate the size when you use it. It's no problem to roll from side to side. I'd have a good selection of medium, firm and soft pillows to use with it to get the angle of your head a bit steeper on something soft. The fabric on the wedge does a good job of holding your pillows (and you) in place instead of sliding down.I'm looking now for a second wedge from the same company for my loved one's legs.
