Well I got the box and it looked half decent then I opened it. Lid was broken and and killing logo badge on front is missing. I setup the process to return and I have to pay for the return ????? Do not use this product. If it won’t last the shipping it’s not gonna last on your atv. I’ll be doing a review on my YouTube channel and it will t be a good one. It looks like a return. Why should we have to pay to send stuff back

The annoying part was the box arrived with the lid detached and the contents scattered. After 45min of struggling I was able to stand it on end and use my body weight to reattach lid. The locking latch would not clear the lip of the box to engage the locked position. The locking latch lever was easily bent with only slight pressure. This did allow for the lid to lock but it wouldn’t take much prying pressure to open the box if someone wanted in. It will keep honest people honest but a thief will have no problems getting in. Not a deal breaker, but a better locking mechanism would benefit. The latches are ok. One latch locks tighter than the other and it appears it is caused from how the latch hardware was riveted in location. The box itself seems to be good. I have not attached the rack yet but I do not foresee any issues surfacing when I do. It has a hole pattern, stamped in the underside of the lid that you simply drill through. My star rating is mainly based off of the lid issue and the locking mechanism. Had I not had the lid issue it would be a 3 star product based on components quality.

Great box, lots of room. Looking forward to many trips in and out of the camp with the extra storage space. Install was easy if you have a little imagination...

Well, I have normally provided some pros and cons so I'll try my best.Pros - The plastic material is fairly thick and sturdy. I find the material of the box is nice so a thumbs up.It is also aesthetically pleasing, pseudo modern design.Cons - The lid was broken when it arrived at first glance. See Pic.Looking at it closer, it looks like whoever tried to assemble this gave up after forcing the hinge into the socket but never made it in. The hinge was bent a good 45 degrees. I tried using a long screwdriver for leverage but it was bent over too much where some hammering was needed to make the hinge fit. Then removing the good side and using the large screw driver to assemble the lid. After the lid was on, I went to the front to latch it closed however the darn latch was installed so far off (You must see the pic for this one). I have a hard time reaching it or even closing the latch. It's frustrating to spend couple hundred bucks on a product that looks like some monkey put this together.THE FIT AND FINISH is horrendous!I would have returned this right away but, I need this for a trip this weekend. This is my only option unfortunately and I'm hoping the lid doesn't fly off. What a POS for overall Quality while the material it self seems nice I would give this an overall 0 if I could for the horrible experience in buying a product for couple C notes that made it out of their factory like this.Whoever is their Quality Control needs new glasses.

Huge box. Lids seals very well. Latches function perfectly. This is a great "need to bring a lot of stuff" option. Perfect for overnight adventure, ice fishing or just having the the ability to keep what you need out of elements. Box is so big they angle front face in the middle of box slightly to allow for removal of seat. This is my theory anyhow. It barely allows me to remove mine on my new sportsman. Angle is not comfortable to rest your back on while relaxing so taking a break seated and leaning on box becomes uncomfortable, that would be the only con I see.

Brought the box as a Christmas present for my son this year. He used it for the first time on a hunting trip shortly after. The box held backbacks, 2 Mr. Heater stand heater and several extra bottles of propane with ease not to mention other junk we had stuck in there. No more trying to secure things on the back rack of the 4-wheeler. Nicely secures and protects from the dust and mud too..

Bought to use on my 2012 King Quad 750. Fits the machine very well, allowing easy access to the fuel filler and easy removal of the seat. Currently mounted using the included straps - which work much better than I expected. It is very secure on the machine whether bouncing down the trail or being towed at freeway speeds. The size of the box is great - it really swallows a lot of gear. The latches are secure and easy operate with heavy gloves on. Great Amazon price and fast, free shipping are always pluses.Update 12/18/13:Having used the box for deer hunting and ice fishing, I'm happy to say it continues to exceed my expectations. It just swallows up the gear...it really is bigger than it looks. I originally mounted with the straps thinking I would be taking it on/off. That hasn't been the case, so I recently hard mounted the box with four stainless steel u-bolts (I didn't like the ones provided by Kolpin...my first quibble). I removed the rack from the machine to make it easier, and the entire task was accomplished in less than an hour with no hassle. Very easy to do for anyone with hand tools and basic mechanical knowledge. In general, I find I prefer the hard mount - more solid, more secure, and no worries about straps coming loose.

I recently got my Outfitters Box in the mail and promptly put it on. Something I did notice is that the hardware that comes with the box isn't exactly "universal". I had to go to Lowes and buy some longer u-bolts because my rack on a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 700 is about 1 1/4 inch thick and the bolts that are supplied in the hardware are just about 1 1/2 inch where the threads are. After taking into account for the 1/2 inch molded bottom on the box, the original bolts didn't work. The other issue I had was, after a day of riding, I got home and was cleaning my quad up and noticed that inside the box, the lock bar that allows you to lock the box up with the key was laying inside the box. Once I took a look at the lock itself, I noticed that the part that the key goes into was completely missing. Apparently on the inside, the screw that holds it all together came lose from all the bouncing around and fell off, allowing the lock to bounce out from the outside. Not a big deal because I don't really need to lock my box up but the fact that I can't do it now if I wanted to makes me want to call and see about a replacement.I will say that it is durable though. I used 2 of the u-bolts on the inside and all 4 mounting straps to hold my box to the rear rack and I hit a few trees and it just bounced off with no damage to the box. The straps never came lose and the u-bolts are still holding it down. All in all, great box, very roomy. Could use some improvement in the hardware and lock area but it works for me!
