More nutrition for a superior scoby
Fannings are the small particles of tea used in almost every tea-bag around the world, and when brewed, the surface area of fannings is exponentially more than the surface area of whole leaf tea. This means a much higher nutrient extraction rate, versus whole leaf, and (gram for gram) much more nutrition for your scoby than whole leaf tea.

This is a very high-quality tea. I can tell by the way that my final product of kombucha turned out. My only caution is that it is very fine grain and will require you to have a filter. I’m used to brewing kombucha and straining my tea with a filter, or with teabags, however, if I was not used to this process I would be quite disappointed as this tea would slip right through my teapot strainer.

I liked this flavor and that the tea is organic. It is easy to use the provided bags. I notice less to no residue on my pot so I think there are less oils and contaminants in this tea than in the bags I was previously using and it tastes better and does not get bitter with a longer brew like the other ones. Happy with purchase, product, and delivery!

I've enjoyed kombucha for a while now. I love that it is a probiotic, has unlimited options, and has a complex flavor. It's a lot of what I love about beer and wine, but without the drawbacks of alcohol.I recently received a brewing kit as a gift and really enjoyed my first batch. But, then I had to restock my supplies and wondered where to go. I was fortunate to find kombucha.com. I really wanted to find an organic tea as my base. I compared several options and kombucha.com checked all the boxes - organic, well regarded in reviews, focused on kombucha production, and organic.
