This to me is just for walking dogs and not for taking 2 for potty brakes. The extra leashes that connect to the leash doesn’t give them much room to go their own way. Other than that it works great. It retracts easily.

I apologize for my previous less than stellar review, which was entirely because I initially didn't use it correctly 🤦🏼♀️ But, since getting that straightened out I have found this to be FANTASTIC❣️ The dual leash I had previously had 1 handle but 2 lines that made it easy for my babes to tangle themselves or me or all of us. This leash has 1 handle 1 length adjustable lead that becomes 2 at the end. This successfully kept my babes from tangling incidents. It is sturdy, good quality & reasonably priced. VERY Pleased 😊☺️

My one-year Aussie broke it the first day I used it. The cable is too short, and The snap got hooked on the dog pawn cousins to swell. I’m glad I was around to release it before creating permanent damage.

Great color fits right in my hand very strong and ribbon does not get tangled or folded or anything. I've had it 2 weeks now. Working great good for a dog that wants to pull all the time

It hasn’t broken yet, but does not seem like it will take my 100+lb Rhodesian Ridgeback long to do something to break this. 1, the metal hook ends of the cable are heavier than the recoil spring, so regardless off the weight of the dog, the tether naturally falls low and if the dog walks back towards you there’s plenty of slack to chew through. Great in theory to offer this item packaged together, though I may have to buy a more sturdy retractable leash soon. 😅 I gave 4 stars mainly bc it hasn’t broken yet lol

I got the one that comes with the coupler. Seemed like a great leash design at first. I actually like that one lead of the coupler is longer than the other, and both sides are longer than my old coupler I used to use for walking my two 17lb dogs on one leash. However, metal cables are WAY too heavy and really reduce the ability of the leash to retract quickly. It may work better if the tension was MUCH higher, or without the extensions/coupler. It was too slow to retrat for controlling my dogs on long walks around the neighborhood. Plus, while the lock mechanism is easy to operate, it also is SUPER touchy... often staying locked when I was trying to unlock it, or locking when I didn't want it to. Not the quality replacement leash I was hoping it would be. So, will be returning this for a better product.

I have a puppy who chews on everything he can get his paws on. He chewed through a rope leash so I was looking for a leash that he couldn't destroy. Well yes this does have a wire rope at the beginning of the leash , but when you let out the leash that is in the plastic handle/case it is made of a silky ribbon material. So he would be able to chew through that in a second if I let him. As long as you keep it all inside the handle/case then your dog won't chew through the wire part. I have only had it a week so we shall see how long it will last. There is some rubber type material covering the wire part that he has already chewed through. I had expected an all wire leash , but that is not the case. Again I will put in a review when some more time has lapsed.

Works just fine, built well but I have a big dog and a medium/smallish dog and with this design, the big one just drags the little one. Needs to be for similar sized dogs, I just didn’t think of that when I ordered.
