Chipped edge and peeling paint seem to indicate some poor quality control. Wasn't looking for Amana quality, but I won't be back for any more of this brand.

Good Price, Cuts well. I have made dozens of cuts in red oak and this bit and bearings have performed great. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because the set screws and allen wrench are crap.. I have to use drill chuck and small vise-grips every time I change the bearing size

I do some woodworking in the evening and weekends -- so not a full time shop. I really like KOWOOD bits, this one included, for their quality to price ratio. For the hobbyist use case, they hold and edge and stay sharp and give a nice cut. I'll likely buy other KOWOOD bits in the future.

Cuts through soft woods like butter. Does a decent job on white oak. Great for the non professional. Bearings feel like the won't last long but we will see.

I am new to handheld routers and bought this for rabbet/rabbit routing. Other router bits seem to get really expensive. I bought this and am very happy. It comes with an adjustable set of round devices that you switch out for whatever width router shape you want. It’s easy to switch them out and provides flexibility for a variety of needs. If I were doing this for a living, I’d buy dedicated sizes... and end up needing to spend 10x the price. But for why I need, these are perfect.

The goal was to create a round window for the vocal room of my recording studio. I obtained a piece of 1/2 thick round glass that used to be a coffee table 36” in diameter. I took a sheet of 3/4 inch finished one side plywood. I cut the plywood into two 45”x45” panels. I then traced out from dead center a 34” round circle. I used the router bit and set to a depth of half the thickness of the glass (1/4”). I used a stop bit to create and1/2” deep channel on both of the inside pieces of plywood and then sandwiched the glass in between. Sealed with glue and screws and then built a frame to insert into the wall.

I have only used it on two projects but so far I am very pleased with it. The quality seems to be good and the price too. I can't tell anything about the durability of the cutting edges with my little bit of use but i am confident it will be fine. The only thing I would have appreciated was a chart showing which bearing to use for a certain size rabbit. trial and error works, but a chart would save time.
