I bought this for my daughter for Christmas last year. Unfortunately, she didn’t use it for 4 months, otherwise I would have returned it.The machine runs in the “off” position. It does this while the foot pedal isn’t being touched. It’s dangerous at the very least.

I first bought this machine in 2021 and have used it a lot, even sewed 3 quilts on it. For the price point it's been great, I really didn't expect it to be perfect but it does all the basic things I needed it to and even though it is sometimes fiddly (remember to fix the tension if you're having thread issues) the biggest issue I had was a few broken needles when the fabric was too thick. It seemed like it was having more issues than usual lately so after 3 years of use I thought I'd buy a second machine for backup. Luckily I tested it out before the return window closed because even though it looks like the exact same machine, apparently the quality has gone down in the past 3 years. On the new machine, the bobbin cover doesn't stay attached so it's constantly falling off and every time you reverse stitch it's pushed open. The nails next to the feed dogs aren't flush with the machine so previous stitches or threads on the fabric you're sewing get caught on them and suddenly your fabric is all puckered and messed up. The feed dogs pull the fabric at an angle, so when you start sewing the fabric is pulled off to the left instead of staying straight. I'm sure there are even more issues but those were enough to make me return it.If it had been the same machine that I bought 3 years ago I would've left a 5 star review because for a low cost machine, as long as you were willing to play around with the tension, it worked just fine. I loved the simplicity of my old machine. But this version is not functional. The "new and improved" led light is just a waste of space too, you can only plug it in via a USB cord so unless you want to waste another plug space and use your phone charger or happen to have a computer sitting next to you to plug it into, you can't use it anyway!I guess I just need to give up and buy an expensive Brother.

Does what it says and it's easy to use. Took a few minutes to find the correct instructional video for threading the machine though.

I have spent a significant amount of money on electronic sewing machines, that I could neither understand or even thread, it made me feel pretty stupid. But this little machine is amazing, easy to thread and to get the thread from the bobbin up, I’m so pleased with this little machine, it isn’t bulky, nor heavy, it doesn’t get in my way and it’s easy to lift on to my table. I have so many spine and hand problems, but the little machine can be used by pushing a button, slow, fast, off. I don’t even need the foot pedal. To me it is a perfect sewing machine with lots of different stitches. And it can go backwards too, avoiding the thread from pulling apart.Recommended for sure 100%The price is also value for money.

Bought this for Christmas for our granddaughter who wanted to learn to sew. It was easy for her to figure out and she started sewing right away and was so happy... until it malfunctioned after about two weeks. Basically the needle timing is off and will not thread the bobbin any longer. Tried taking it apart to fix but it just isn't worth the time and headache so it this thing is going in the trash can. This basically was a $70 experiment to find out how interested she is in sewing, now will invest in a higher quality item.

So this is a small, plastic, cheap looking sewing machine. But it does the job! I just sewed a zipper on knitting and fabric liner. I couldn’t believe it actually sewed together all three zipper, liner and knitting. Just hope it lasts!

I have to say I am glad I got this sewing machine. It’s my first time to use it and I thought it was more of a toy than a usable sewing machine. I used the extra cloth with the package and used the 12 options for the stitches it has and it was easy to use. It is still light weight for what is and it’s not hard to use it.I was able to sew my dress to make it slimmer and it it did well. I will for sure use it more often to practice and also do some stitching.

Bought this for my daughter. Not happy with it at all, it borders on the line of a fisher price toy. It’s just very poor quality and one tension setting even thought it has 9. This leads to constant snapping of thread and bunching of thread. You can’t open up the machine to unbunch the thread either. BE WARNED!

I was pleasantly surprised by this machine.I have not touched a sewing machine since High School textile classes, and this machine was so easy to use I didn't even have to use the manual to get started.Within 5 minutes, I had repaired the two pair of trousers I had bought the machine for.It is a bit on the small side, but that works in my favour as I have a small desk and not much storage space. The packaging also has nice slots for the pedal and power unit, so you don't have to pack it all down neatly in the bags, you can just shove it back in the slots in the styrofoam and it all slots into the box again. You don't even need to remove the threading, so it is ready for your next sewing session right away.If I had any critique it would be that the pedal is a bit on the small side for my Jolly Green Giant feet, but that's more my problem than anything else and can be fixed easily as it is a standard pedal port. The bobbin (underspool) is also locked under a panel with a screw. It is nice that you can see it at all times and know when it is about to run out, but annoying that you have to use a screwdriver at an annoying angle to change it.It does come with 12 different types of stitches, 2 automatic speeds, a very bright work light, a thread cutter, a bobbin rethreader and a universal thread holder for both mini spools and regular size spools, making it a very good machine for its price.Might be my best purchase this year.
