The edges were never cleaned after they cut them and the aluminum is really soft. First time I used them I bent a corner. Very disappointed

The L-shape allows to put quite a bit of pressure without them flexing. I use them all the time to bring things into plane.

Great product, aside from being poorly packaged. Would be cool if they came with a clip to hold them together, or at least some tape during shipping. Box came damaged and open but also traveled nearly 3,000 miles. Padding in corners would've prevented loss of smallest screed.
