In the past I had to throw away cans of Great Stuff because I didn't use it all at once. Not anymore! These plastic straws fit onto the can and work as the originals. They are a tad bit shorter but still very workable. Now here's a secret, after you use Great Stuff with one of these straws, take some WD40 and spray it down in the tube (with the straw on) and it will dissolve the Great Stuff and make your straw like new again!

These tubes fit the foaming insulation that I sometimes use. Since I am doing small jobs, I only use a part of the can and then save the rest for future problem spots. Each can comes with only one tube, so to get multiple uses you have to clean the tube for the next use. This takes enough time that it detracts from the simplicity of using the canned foam in the first place. These tubes solve that problem and are a real time saver. Just throw the old tube away and put on a new one next time.I have found that there are some cans of foam that these tubes do not fit, so unfortunately they are not universal. They did not fit on one can of large gap filler, but they do fit the common brand of foam filler that I usually use.

What can I say, projects pop up when they feel like it and these extra nozzles allow you to get the most out of your can of Kraken insulating foam. From an environmental standpoint, this allows you to use every last drop and the foam expands so you don't usually need a whole lot to fill those nooks and crannies. These fit perfectly on the can and to be honest, should almost always be a suggestion to pair when purchasing.

Haven't had the opportunity to use the KRAKEN BOND brand of expanding polyurethane foam, but I would think it's comparable to the GREAT STUFF brand that is more readily available to me.Good straws, fit the GREAT STUFF cans, too. I do like to see the straw pin-back, allowing re-use of the same straw within a few days. Sure, you can pinch the straw off by other methods, but having it built into the applicator is handy.

The Verdict:NEUTRALThe GOOD:- Fits same as original- Larger tube good for very large gaps- Makes for easy cleanup- Allows you to reuse a can (saves money)The BAD:- A bit pricey- The plug feature isn't intuitive or functionalChanges to get 5-stars:- Better price- Show how to use the plug feature or eliminate itBottom Line:These will allow you to finish that can of spray foam to get your money out of it. It isn't the cheapest and if you need a replacement for Great Stuff specifically, and not Kraken, cheaper options exist.Details:FULL DISCLOSURE - I have not yet used these with my spray foam. Once I do, I'll update this post as needed.The larger tube may be necessary for the Kraken brand spray foam, but I have not used that before. Luckily these screw directly onto a can of Great Stuff brand as well. The performance might not be quite the same though as Great Stuff has a MUCH smaller tube on their cans. The larger tube should work fine for most applications of large gaps or open areas. If you have a tight gap, say around a pipe going through a wall, and you need to get foam in the gap these tubes could prove to be a little too large. The other feature marketed as an improvement is the plug for the end of the tube. Since it is molded onto the trigger/handle it isn't clear how it is intended to be used. If you bend the tube in half it tried to pull away from the plug so it doesn't seem like it wants to seal. If the intent is to cut the plug off and use it then that should be mentioned. Otherwise it seems like a marketing gimmick to me. Also, a quick search on Amazon will show if you need a replacement nozzle for Great Stuff you can get a larger quantity for much less that these too so keep that in mind!************************************************My Rating Scale:5 STARS - Item worked better than advertised and exceeded my expectations. I'm a DIY'er and I do a lot of work on rental properties. In the process I do use a good bit of the spray foam. It is always frustrating that I end up wasting some product because of clogged nozzels. Now I can replace to old nozzles with these. The only difference I see with these it that the tubes are a slightly larger diameter than the ones that come with the spray foam I normally buy so if the gap is really small, these would not fit in the gap but I seldom have gaps that small.

I got these to replace the original clogged spray tube.. These appear to be the same material, though the tube is slightly larger in diameter than the original. They fit big box store foam cans just fine. Using these, you can leave the straw on the can after the first use and let the foam harden. The next time you need some foam, just unscrew the old one and screw on the new one. This will work most but not all of the time and one should note the foam manufacturer recommends you use the whole can in one application for best results.As for me, I usually unscrew the straw and clean it out with acetone before the foam has cured. The cured foam will not stick to the polyethylene tube but will definitely clog the ABS handle if you don't clean it immediately. With these extra straws you can be lazy and just use a new straw with each application.The ad copy says it comes with some sort of "improved" plug. The only thing that looked like a plug was a small round thingie at the end of the handle that presumably you could insert inside a freshly used straw. I do not see any purpose to this plug. The used foam will cure inside the tube regardless of the plug, and to plug a tube you would have to use the handle from another tube set to fit into the first tube set. Again, it makes no sense, unless I have completely missed the point.
