This is a well-designed kit with great build quality and innovative challenges for your dog. It may seem expensive, but the quality is quite worth the money! It also has a good philosophy as spelled out in the manual: each dog has his/her own way of solving these puzzles, and there is no wrong way!The kit provides a challenge different from plastic toys. Is your dog used to plastic toys from Nina Ottosson and Trixie? Try the Kruuse Buster. This kit can entertain our more intelligent dogs that have figured out the plastic puzzles. They have to do things in a different way to get treats from these fabric puzzles. Securing individual "tasks" to a heavy mat is a nice innovation, because by keeping them in place, that makes it possible for dogs to solve more complicated fabric puzzles. So we have to give credit to the designer Marianne Hailer Vesterholt for inventing this toy!The kit comes with three tasks. There are nine other tasks that you have to purchase separately. The tasks are classified according to their level of difficult. There are three levels. Make sure to introduce to your dog the lower level tasks first. You can also make the higher level tasks easier. All items are made of thick, durable materials. The mat is thick and substantial. It is rubberized on the back for a better grip on the floor. Two metal rods have been sewn in at the edges to keep the mat flat. There are three thick velcro straps to keep the mat from unrolling when you store it as a roll. The nylon fabric used for the tasks are heavy and thick. Needless to say, all the stitching is carefully done. Not a loose thread anywhere! The kit comes with a storage bag, which is also very well designed, too. It has an inner pocket to keep the smaller pieces that can get lost. The zippers have a velcro flap. The only use for the flap I can think of is preventing a dog from opening the bag when you don't want her to. The bag has stiffened edges to help it stand up. The fabric for the bag is thin, but that's OK because it is meant for storage only, not heavy use. There is only one caveat. The puzzle seems to be designed for a small to medium dog. The pockets in some "tasks" may be too small for big dogs to stick their snout in. Perhaps big dogs can learn to use their paws?Minor observations. (1) The instruction manual comes in multiple languages. I've checked a few languages, and I see they hired good translators. The writing is rather on the formal side for a dog toy. (2) The snap fasteners that secure individual tasks to the mat are probably not strong enough for some dogs. This is not really a problem since you should always supervise your dog with playing with this toy.

We got this for our miniature aussiedoodle (15lb). He really loves it but he started to solve all the puzzles too quickly (5 min total) and we switched to rolling treats up in cloth napkins and tying them together in various ways. We find this much easier to switch up for him (rather than having to buy new attachments) and it takes him much longer to solve. We've been using the napkin method for months and it still takes him 15 minutes to solve.

i love being able to add different puzzles to the mat without spending a fortune. My pup really enjoys them and likes the variety. They are also very well made.

I have a 4month old retriever and he LOVES this. Not sure I’d want to work for my dinner like he does, but I use it for his meal times and works a treat. Three or four puzzles probably take him 10mins to get through with tail wagging throughout and constant snuffling. Machine washable puzzles which is great, haven’t tried washing the mat yet but will likely hand wash/scrub.Agree with others, it all adds up as the initial pack is pretty simple and my puppy gets bored quickly so it’s important for me to be able to rotate them (which means buying more puzzles!). That said, I do think this will last a long time as they do all seem pretty durable. Puzzles do unpop from the main mat with his enthusiasm, but in some ways it means it keeps him busier longer, so I’m not bothered by it. Only genuine 😕 is the wooden bar to hold one of the puzzles down is very soft wood and my pup was straight at it. Swapped it out for a chew though and that works well - added enjoyment for him!Overall, totally worth it and I’d recommend to anyone wanting to entertain a puppy with variety!(Oh, and the carry bag is pretty good too!)

Great product for dogs. Goes with activity mat. My dog enjoys this and waits for the treats to be put in. I used this as my dog was unable to go outside due to a noise phobia caused by fireworks. She got lots of exercised using this as she has to dig with her front paws to get them out. Item came quickly

My dog has a blast finding the kibble and treats within this mat. It takes him quite a while to solve the puzzles depending on its difficulty but he perseveres until he has his treats! I purchased most of the other puzzles in this collection (missing the mouse trap and top hat) and it is really fun changing up the puzzles so that my dog is constantly engaging his mind and problem-solving to get his treats. The material is good quality and has survived my dog's endless scratching and pawing at the puzzles to get his treats. Would definitely recommend!

This is an amazing toy. I just got a puppy and didn't think she'd be ready for things like this yet, but decided to give it a go. She's already getting bored and wants something to do. She loves this and it keeps her busy for quite a while. I mean, for one thing to keep the attention of an 8 week old puppy for half an hour... Well, it's really a miracle toy. I use her food and one treat for the puzzles so that she doesn't get sick. She only does the easier puzzles now, but she's so smart. I like that this is a game that I can make more challenging as she gets older. I still have to watch her with this toy because she wants to chew everything. This isn't a chew toy and I wouldn't leave her alone with it.I think this is the best toy I've ever seen for a dog. The ghost of Yetta, who approves of life going on, told me this would be a fabulous toy. She said she would've loved it, but also she doesn't hold a grudge against me because we didn't know about it. Yetta's favorite game was to find treats. Willa is my new puppy and she also loves finding treats. Harvey, my 11 year old dog, loves eating treats. He also does some of the more challenging puzzles, but is more interested in eating the treat when Willa solves the puzzle. Anyway, he's not allowed to do that, but isn't that even smarter than solving puzzles?

I have two 70 pound dogs, a Staffordshire Terrier and an American Bulldog. I was a little unsure if this would work for large dogs, but it's actually pretty good. Their snouts fit in the envelopes with ease and it kept them more entertained than other dog puzzles we've purchased. Most of the time, my American bulldog can figure a treat puzzle out in seconds, this one had her stumped and she loved it! The only negative thing I will say is, if you are purchasing this for a large dog, they can pull the puzzles right off the mat. I sat with each of them as they worked on it and had to reattach the puzzles a few times. I don't know that it was quite worth the $65, I had some Discover points so I got it cheaper. It's great for a rainy day activity.

This is a well made toy. We purchased the mat which comes with 3 activities, and 2 additional activities. Our beagle watched us putting his treats in the different container pockets, and afger giving him the go ahead it took him about 20 mins to take apart all 5 activities to get to his treats. I was hoping that it would occupy him for a longer amount of time, but for a dog who figured out how to turn off the TV and get on the kitchen island by pulling out the drawers, we will take what we can get. At least he isn't destroying anything. The mat and activities seem well made and don't contain any loose small parts. Then again, some reviewers mentioned the snaps coming off, but despite some severe dog handling by our beagle they remained securely fastened. I highly recommend this for an intelligent and inquisitive pet.
