C’est un bon cadenas. Je me suis tourné vers cette marque sur recommandation de mon magasin de vélo, car selon lui les kryptonites sont les plus protecteurs.Je me questionne sur la réelle utilité de mettre un tel prix face à d’autres marques moins chères qui offrent une très bonne protection également. Car cet antivol est très lourd, et la serrure est un peu difficile à ouvrir : la clé ne s’enfonce pas toujours bien mais la serrure tourne quand même, sans ouvrir.Enfin, j’ai une assurance antivol pour mon vélo qui demande simplement un antivol de minimum 30€.En prenant en compte ces données et l’utilisation de mon vélo : déplacements quotidiens en ville (bcp e vols) et bikepacking, je pense que j’aurais dû m’orienter vers une autre marque avec des composants moins lourds et une bonne protection malgré tout.En résumé, le cadenas est super selon les besoins que vous avez ! Le seul défaut est pour l’ouvrir mais c’est ok.

I wouldn't recommend this lock if you store your bike outside. Mine rusted within weeks. While I am still able to use it, locking and unlocking requires a lot of maneuvering of the two parts to get them to align JUST RIGHT so I can turn the key.It might work fine if your bike is always stored in an area protected from the weather and errant sprinkler systems. Probably best to just get a different lock.

It fits in a back pant's pocket which was the selling point for me. Perfect for quick trips around town when not wanting to carry a lot of things or weight. The shackle size is a limiting factor, so it may not work well in all instances, but I use it on street signs. I bought it for that specific use, so I'm happy. A lamp post or large diameter bike rack may prove problematic, but it would also work well as a second lock to only lock a wheel to the bike frame in case your biking grounds have wheel thieves. Being lightweight and compact makes it a great supplemental lock if you like to use multiple locks.

Been using an Evolution mini 5 for about 10 years or so... it's a bit heavy for my travels but its still intact....Saw this lock and just had to get it is very light weight and bit longer and narrower than my other lock...but still fits in many places to lock up around the city for quick stops.....has improved features that i like very much.....would recommend...

Das ist bereits mein zweites Fahrradschloss von Kryptonite. Ein zweites musste her, da das erste - ein Kettenschloss von Kryptonite - zu klobig für das tägliche Herumgetrage ist. Dieses hier kann ich bequem am Zugband meiner Bauchtasche an der Hüfte tragen bzw. hängen lassen, ohne dass es am Fahrrad befestigt oder in einer separaten Tasche verstaut werden muss. Das Schloss wiegt absolut nicht viel und ist laut Kryptonite dennoch eins der stabileren Bügelschlösser aus deren Sortiment. So mancher Käufer hier beschwerte sich über die Schwergängigkeit beim Einführen bzw. Entfernen des Schlüssels - ich kann das nicht bestätigen. Natürlich flutscht der Schlüssel nicht wie eine heiße Messerspitze durch ein Stück Butter aber mit etwas Feingefühlt geht das easy peasy. Wer das Vorderrad gern mit anschließen möchte, kann sich das kurze Drahtseil dazuholen und es so mit absichern. Durch die etwas kleinere Ausführung passt der Bügel nicht um alle Objekte wie die Stange eines Straßenschilds aber mit etwas Kreativität findet man schon ein geeignetes Örtchen zum Anschließen. Ach ja, die kleine Taschenlampe am Schlüssel habe ich noch nie benutzt, wenn ich ehrlich bin.

This is a good lightweight U-Lock. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good. A few notes.- The "LITE" label seems very silly. Why advertise that it's lightweight. Luckily this came off instantly with a tiny bit of acetone / nail polish remover.- This is on the small side of U-locks. I've found that I can generally lock to most things by going around my rim and tire through the rear triangle and to a solid object (Sheldon Brown's method) with my large 55mm wide tires, but on some objects it's a bit awkward. If I just go around my steel frame tube, then I can lock to many things easier.- My wide tires (55mm wide) press the two legs of the "U" apart when I put it over the tire and it is difficult to install the crossbar. Once I figured this out, it is not a big deal and I can gently squeeze the legs back together with my hand to install the crossbar. But it was very frustrating before I figured this out and I just couldn't get the crossbar on.

I bought this for its light weight and in this department it does not disappoint. I wish it came with a frame mount like the others, but its lightness makes it possible to just clip it around the frame or handlebars. One issue I run into all the time is the key getting stuck. I'm not sure why it keeps happening but it's really annoying to spend upwards of 1 minute trying to lock it when it should take 5s. And it happens with remarkable frequency. There's definite a design flaw to be looked at here.As far as size, I am almost never able to put my bike *in* the racks. I always have to put my bike on the outside and line my frame up right next to a tube I can attach to. So far this hasn't been an issue.

Don't let the description fool you, FlexFrame-U Bracket is not included. Otherwise light weight lock. Pretty thin. Not sure how strong against bike robbers.

El candado está muy bien, no es grande pero lo suficiente para anclar cualquier señal de la calle. Lo mejor es que es más ligero que la mayoría y eso es muy importante. Lo compré de segunda mano, está como nuevo y a mitad de precio.

I have 4 bikes. my evolution 5 was my carry on for everything. now i use this one for on the go. I don't use it over night. just for bars and running into stores. All in all it is good so far. I bought a used one for cheaper and it is fine like wine. A little lighter than my evolution five. does not fit as well with the dimensions like the five but just have to adjust or find another place to lock. I live in NYC.
