The flexible hinges allow you to wrap this around, oddly shaped objects. It folds up nicely and stows on the bike easily. I lock and unlock my bike multiple times per day and this particular bike makes that task much simpler and quicker.

It’s obviously overpriced for security level. But this one was the fastest delivery option. Tested on Toronto curb side bike racks and managed to secure it. Wish the lock head was on the other side so I could pass it through the front tires like other brands have.

I had to graduate from a simple cable lock for my beat-up hybrid bikes to something a little more secure for a modern Class 3 E-bike. This folding lock is moderately secure, enough for shorts stops and more where I ride. The length is sufficient to lock a bike frame around a good size post or other sturdy object, and simple to operate. While it's not light, it's not ridiculously heavy. Most importantly, it easily fits into the side pocket of a small rear rack bag. The lock itself is coated with a soft material so it won't scar your bike during use. Not as secure as a U-lock, but more versatile. And not as heavy or as bulky as a similar size chain lock. Seem like a good compromise between security and weight for those riding in a rural or suburban environment or for short stops for lunch or shopping.

Great lock for the price. It isn't maximum security but in my relatively low crime are it does the job. Attaches right to the frame and works great

Kryptonite is my favorite brand. This is super high quality and keeps your bike safe I highly recommend it and recommend that you also look at the heavy duty chain lock combo as it is perfectly great

There are many obvious strengths and weaknesses to this lock. It's relatively easy to transport. Not terribly heavy. It expands to encompass unusual shapes and sizes. I don't think it would be easy to pick, but it wouldn't withstand a brute force attack. But if you already have a strong U-lock in place, adding this folding lock on top means a bicycle thief is going to have to put in extra time to get through two (or more) locks and they generally won't take the risk. It's a good second lock. It's a good lock if you're only going to be away from your bike for a short time.

I received this Kryptonite folding lock May 14th 2020, it broke June 18th 2020. First the rubber clasp broke , yet I still put up with the lock . Even though I was unable to attach it the lock holder to my bike for travel .Then the lock cilinder somehow broke off and fell out of the lock !

This is a good medium-Security bike lock, very compact, packs easily and securely into the provided carrier. The carrier mounts to standard bottle bosses, an ideal storage solution.I bought the smaller size, which is large enough to secure the frame and rear wheel. I wouldn’t trust this lock for overnight storage in an exposed area, but for use during the day while dining or shopping it should be adequate.The keys are a bit fiddly, the lock mechanism doesn’t feel that solid, but that’s probably one of the trade-offs when using a lightweight lock, and this lock only weighs about a pound and a half, the same as a 24 ounce water bottle.I’m sure any determined bike thief can defeat this lock, but it’s more secure than a steel cable, and a lot easier to use than a U-lock, and easier to store on a bike than any other design.
