This does the job well of providing a weaver dovetail mount. It is quite a bit more difficult to load without tiny fingers. In hindsight I wish I had sprung for the picitany mount as most cheaper scopes and red dots use this. I didn't realize how bad the Crickett scope would be.

It works like it’s supposed to. I got a UTG .22/Airgun to Picatinny/Weaver Low Pro Snap-in Adaptor as well so I can put a red dot on my girls rifle. My youngest daughter doesn’t understand how to line up the sights so I got her a red dot for now and I will teach her to use iron sights when she is a little older. My youngest is 7 and oldest is 8 and they love shooting it.

I think this is the only option for mounting a scope on the .22 crickett. works good. but, it's small. the mounting rails are micro rails you need special scope mounts for just any scope. The scopes that seem to fit the best are the cheap airgun scopes. They are the right size to clamp down small enouph onto the rails. when the scope rings do clamp down its only on the very tips of the mounting claw. In the product picture you can see the mounting grooves next to the screw holes. that is what the scope rings clamps into with it's tips, not over the whole side of the rail like on a picatinny rail.
