I matched the sensor with the one that came out of my smoker. The smoker was not getting up to temperature. This new sensor was the fix. My old smoker now has new life.Many folks replace the heating element. A little ohm meter work can help you troubleshoot the real problem without throwing $$$ away. You can also place a jumper on the two sensor connections and see if the element get hot. If it get hot with the sensor removed and wired directly then you have a bad sensor and your heating element works fine.

Turns out this was was not the issue with my steamer unit. So I’m going to say these probably work just fine under the required application.

My smoker would not turn off the heating element when reaching temperature. I replaced this switch and I'm operating again. Unfortunately Masterbuilt tech support was 100% useless and I had to figure this out myself.The switches I received are not stamped with the temperature rating. I ordered the 150 degree switch which was the factory original. Hopefully these are too. Only 3 stars because they do not have the temperature rating stamped on the switch.1/5/23 - I found the temperature rating is stamped on the backside of one of the mounting ears instead of on the front of switch.

Needed a 15A rating for the coffeepot. This is the first one I've run across that the mounting ring is fixed, doesn't rotate. Made it work, but awkward. Only reason for 4 stars.
