I am not the drummer my son is and he goes through a lot of drum heads. These hold up very well. They are 2 ply and just as good as the big name brands. They fit perfectly and sound great.

The Quality was better than expected. These are comparable to Remo Weather King. They are the same fit, form, and function. The biggest difference is the price.Remo Weather King for 12, 13, 14,16, & 22 = $130+Ktaxon heads for 12, 13, 14,16, & 22 = $40In my opinion if you have to replace them in half the playing time as Remo heads you are still ahead $50

I paid a total of $100 for my garage sale find drum set, and only need it for two songs for a performance. I want going to spend a lot for new heads. These will work fine. For a better set, I might spent an $100 but these work. As stated in the ad, they have clear, and white. The white is translucent which is fine for snare and toms. For the Bass drum I will be putting a logo on it (The Beatles + Ludwig). So what I ended up doing was PAINTING the inside of the resonant head gloss white. Looks amazing. I cannot attest to how long they will last. Others have said they are fine.

I’m a professional drummer and generally use the Remo and Evans heads. These actually sound pretty good. I’d compare them to the 2 ply big name brands. Great buy for the price. I actually put the 14” on my Ludwig Acrolite and I really like the pop I get. I’ll record on this head.
