These are the first laminating sheets I have seen that do not have a "fold" for the front and back sheets, so these are effectively only half the size of 8.5 x 11 (either direction) or there is only half the quantity if you want to use for full 8.5 x 11 inch materials. The positive is that they are easy to use and seem to be of reasonable quality although very thin. Perhaps changing the title and description would increase the number of stars.

These laminating sheets are good for home use, but are a much lighter weight than standard laminating sheets/pockets or what you would get if you went to a printer to get something laminated. I like the fact that they come with a grid backing. It makes it very easy to cut them to size. These sheets are very easy to use and are a good price point for what you get.

These were good for self adhesive sheets:- GOOD stick- accurate and generous size to fit full sheets- easy to use- nice to not have to use a machine- seals the edges well with pressing.Only things I noticed is:- the stickiness can get frustrating when trying to position things, but it wasn’t horrible, just different than the hot press ones and takes some getting used to- as with most lamination sheets - thicker items cause some issues with sealing.Overall a good product!!

I used these to laminate some notecards. They are really easy to cut since they are put on graph paper. The stick is good and now my cards are waterproof.

I really wanted to like these - the idea of laminating without having to store, set up & warm up a heat laminating machine was a draw. However - the sheets are VERY thin (maybe a paper thickness +/-) instead of the heavy plastic sheets/envelopes used with a machine. On the plus side - they ARE quite sticky, so be sure to get your document placed EXACTLY right the first time, it's very likely you won't get a second chance without having to reprint, and use a new laminating sheet.I found that pre-cutting the sheets a little oversized (for smaller items) made handling them easier. And the carefully press the document down on one sheet, then use the second sheet the same way, and trim the excess. (I use a paper roller/cutter device, but you could also use a shearing board, or good old scissors.)The package they came in was just a clear acetate envelope - no branding or label of the contents. In summary - they DO work, but it's a lot more effort than they warrant, and the results are not terrificIf you only need to laminate a few items a year, and don't need them to be stout and durable, these sheets may be fine. But for my purposes, they're not going to be particularly useful.

This is an excellent alternative for your lamination projects if you do not have a heat lamination machine. While the results may not be quite as professional as heat lamination, this works very well in a pinch or for those situations when it is just not worthwhile to break out the lamination machine or to purchase one. The lamination sheets themselves are not as thick as some of the ones you can get for a heat lamiinator, but they are thick enough for my purposes. Each clear adhesive sheet comes with a sizing grid printed on the backing sheet for easy alignment and for pre-trimming to minimize waste. To maximize document/photo protection and to mimic heat sealing, your document should be laminated on both sides. For maximum protection, for free standing documents, I suggest leaving the clear laminating material just a little larger than your document so that the edges of the document are not exposed, and are protected by an adhesive to adhesive sealed border. When laminating, it is of course important to carefully start from one edge to prevent trapping any air bubbles or creases in whatever you are laminating. I am using these sheets to protect some photos as well as making some credit card sized emergency info cards (contact numbers and meds etc) that I keep in the credit card pockets in my wallet in case I am found unconscious somewhere 😂 (seriously though, this saved my elderly Dad’s life a number of years ago). 5 stars.

These are fairly easy to use. I like that they have lines that can be used for properly aligning the item that I'm trying to cover. If I have something smaller, I can cut the sheets and do multiple items using one sheet. You have to be very careful because it is very sticky and you can't re-do it if it is not aligned correctly. However, you don't have to have a laminating machine, which I wouldn't get enough use out of to justify the investment. There are many uses for these sheets. I use them for recipe cards that I get with a meal kit or recipes or articles I pull out of magazines. I laminate paper bookmarks that I love and which eventually wear out if not covered. They can be used for older pictures that might be getting tattered with age and for children's items (drawings, certificates, etc) that you want to preserve. Super useful and once you have them, you will think of all kinds of uses to help preserve things that otherwise would be damaged by moisture and dirt.I think the only critique is that you need to cover each side of your item with a seperate sheet because the sheet only covers one side.
