I do not recommend any other brand. I've never seen a peeler that so readily bites into vegetables and does its job so perfectly. It's like the little guy WANTS to do his job, and do it well. There's also a little spot where you can put a hook in, but I think it's also used to remove eyes from potatoes? Works for me, at least.

This is an ultra low-quality peeler that I would not have in my kitchen. It's also way too small for the average hand.

We were looking for an easy to handle peeler that had a blade that would take the peeling off the potato without constantly clogging up. This is it.

I've used this peeler almost daily for six years, and it is still extremely sharp. No rust, either! The thing is, this is not stainless steel, it's carbon steel. Carbon steel rusts in contact with water. You absolutely cannot let it sit in water, and do not put it in the dishwasher under any circumstances. Wash and dry it after every use. Or if you're like me, rinse it and let it sit and dry on the counter before washing it and drying it. If you chuck it into your sink or dishwasher and let it sit with water on it, it's going to rust quickly. Take care of it properly and it will last a long, long time.

I purchased this based on previous positive reviews. However, it is broken (blade separated from handle) and rusty in 2 months. (And yes, I hand washed and dried it to avoid rusting.)

This peels fine and it's thin slices which is great. I love that part. It uses well. I don't however like that after the first use it's already rusting. It is comfortable to use and you'd think cleaning would be easy but not if it's rusted. I'm disappointed in my husband's impulse buy.

This is the best peeler you’ll find! Because it is Japanese steelm gives it the best edge. The only thing to watch out for is that the metal will rust if you do not dry it.

The peeler is easy to hold. The blade is sharp and peeling potatoes and carrots is very fast and easy with the peeler.I love that they make it in purple.

The peeler itself works well for all the reasons you'd expect: it's sharp, easy to hold, and does exactly what you need it to do.The biggest, and most consistent, problem is that it seems rust very easily. We have had a couple of these rust in the same places after a few washes. It's a cheap peeler so it's hard to expect it to be made from the highest quality materials.

I got this peeler on America Tast Kitchen’s recommendation and I am very pleased. Don’t let the lightweight plastic feel fool you- this peeler is excellent quality. The blade is razor sharp which means it takes off only the peel and doesn’t cut into the food as much as other peelers I’ve used. One little detail I really liked is the little potato eye remover next to the blade. It is also surprisingly sharp and, again, only takes off the eye of the potato instead of a big chunk like other peelers. One word of warning, it will rust if you leave water on it. I left mine sitting at the wrong angle to dry and it got a little rust on the blade. It came off easily enough with some steel wool, but do be careful and don’t put it in the dishwasher. That being said, this is an excellent product and I am very pleased with this purchase.

Es cómodo sostenerlo y se desliza suavemente cortando la piel de frutas y verduras. Un poco caro para mi gusto, pero me atrajo lo del acero suizo, espero que dure mucho tiempo afilado, para justificar el gasto.
