We almost returned it, but my husband felt bad since when he used it, it blew the fuse. Apparently you have to get a more powerful one for the generator. Perhaps the instructions on the site should put that more clearly.

I bought this to eliminate the issue of overloading the fuses and wiring on my cigarette lighter port running my portable tire pump. I put this on in place of the cigarette lighter plugged and it works great!

This is a well made product and I love the fact it has an in-line fuse on the positive side.I bought this for my 20yr+ Ford MK1 KA that lives in my garage. It's in showroom condition and doesn't go out often (hence only 198 miles on the clock) so I need to charge the battery from time-to-time. Unfortunately, because it's a small garage and has a workbench on one wall, I cannot open the bonnet to connect the charger. This lead is the perfect answer.I built a charging pad using this lead, so the crocodile clips are on the battery terminals and the pad is outside the vehicle. Now I simply connect the charger to the pad when I want to charge the battery. When the car comes out for a spin on a warm, sunny day, I just disconnect the crocs and off we go! It also gives me a great 12v power supply in the workshop! lol

We use this small gauge power clip set to connect a battery to heat up small wires, embedded in wax. Small mass makes it easy to use and store. We have large charging clips that are inappropriate for this use, but this small set is just right.

The wires are nice and long so it gives ample room for usage. Using them is straight forward and they seem to be a good value.
