This is a pretty tree topper and big enough for our 7.5 ft tree, but for $50, I did not expect it to be plastic. I actually cracked one of the star points when trying to attach it to our tree. It has the spiral attachment but it just falls over so you have to have something else to make it stand up straight. I bought a base kit from amazon but that made it too tall for our 8 ft ceiling so I used the Velcro tape that was included with that base kit to secure the spiral base to the tree branches. If you don’t mind paying $50 for a plastic topper and then McGyverimg it with something to make it stand up straight, then this is a beautiful topper.

Stunning addition to our tree. Lights beautifully, easy to top the tree with (normally just needs a bit of tweaking around to make sure it's straight, but then it stays put for the season). Highly recommend.

This star is nice but somewhat boring and probably just a little bit too small for most full-sized trees. I removed the ray-halo from another Kurt Adler capiz bethlehem star that was too large for my tree and taped the halo to the back of this star, and now it looks amazing! I cut off the spiral tree attachment thing and used black electrical tape to secure the star to my tree.

I was looking for a tree topper that was both beautiful and symbolic of the season, and I instantly fell in love with the Bethlehem star style. I was a little disappointed when I opened the box because it seemed quite cheap and fragile, but once I put it on the top of the tree (and fought hard to position it in place while it wobbled around), I was able to stabilize it, plug it in, and really appreciate its beauty. A warning— it’s only one sided (the back with the bulb is all exposed). It works for me with the tree in the corner, so I’m overall happy with this purchase (one Christmas season in)!

So, don’t get me wrong, it’s an absolutely gorgeous tree topper. However, I expected it to seem a lot bigger than it actually is, which is a little disappointing considering it’s going on a 12 foot tree. Hopefully it doesn’t look too puny up there… It would probably suit a 7 foot tree better.

It's beautiful, it works with plug-in power, and it's well built. Highly recommended.I tried one of the cheaper battery units (3 AAAs), and after about 8 hours of operation, the lights began to dim. They were dead soon after. It was also poorly assembled.

My star arrived alot earlier than expected, well packed, value for money, only used it once and the bulbs blown, unfortunately can't reach star to change bulb, which is a shame. Could be because it's usa plug and not English plug.

Very disappointed that this item does not work.I ordered a second star which also doesn't work. I think it may have something to do with Australia power supply but Im not sure.Unfortunately, there are no contact details to the supplierIt looks magnificent and can only imagine how much better it would look with light.
