I have purchased FOUR of these nutcrackers in an effort to complete my Nutcracker Suite display for the holidays. None of them live up to the Adler quality of the past! The first one's hair was full on one side, but had a chunk missing from the other side. The second one was missing the label stating "The Nutcracker Ballet" which is more useable although I would prefer it be complete. The third one had the styrofoam jammed on the tree, and it broke off the star. And the fourth one's "mouth" doesn't close so you have a gapping hole, Guess I'll give up, and find something else to complete my foyer table. Very disappointed.Update - I have returned three of the four nutcrackers; and my refund date keeps getting extended? Only get refunded for one at this point because I returned the original and its replacement; but both received (December 23 and December 30, respectively) with no money back until January 17 now.

Like many who purchased, this went to a lovely ballerina in our life. She dances in The Nutcracker every holiday season and I wanted to give her something to let her know we understand how hard she works. Just bought the next addition to her collection for this year's present. Her mom told me this one (gave Christmas 2016) has a prime spot on the mantle. Hope she likes Mouse King just as much. Love the detail on the nutcrackers from Adler. If you have someone who loves The Nutcracker ballet and Christmas, this is a perfect gift.

More lovely than I anticipated! I wish you had been there when it was opened by our grand daughters. At first they were stunned then gasped with delight and danced around the room! The second one I ordered went to a teen who had just soloed in Nutcracker.her mother decorated her room in all white twinkle lights and this gift was waiting for her! Magical memories and sweet tears of joy thanks to your beautiful nutcrackers.
