A few reviewers mentioned difficulty screwing in the included screws, so I took note and thought I was prepared. When installing, the screws are very tight in the holes on the triple tree so you must spend a lot of time screwing them in a bit, then backing them out and then screwing them in again. The idea is to incrementally move them into and open up the holes. My first screw head started to strip, so I stopped and went to the hardware store and picked up a few 1" 1/4-20 bolts to open the holes prior to installing this piece.The bolt heads allowed extra control without stripping, but after opening the first hole one of those extra bolts snapped off. I was able to get the threaded part back out using vise grips, thankfully. The second bolt's threads wore down, so I used a third bolt to finish opening all of the holes. Then I started the actual install with the provided hex-head bolts. Everything was good until one bound up and the hex head stripped when it was almost all the way in. Now I had a loosely-attached metal plate hanging off of my triple tree.I ended up drilling off the head of the bolt so I could remove the deflector. I still have the body of the screw stuck inside the screw hole on the triple tree.I recommend you skip this junk, it is a dicey install and you may end up damaging your bike. In my case, the buffeting certainly isn't bad enough to warrant this kind of stress.

I have had these on all my Harleys works great!People who think no more air will be inside the fairing are wrong this stops the extra air from coming up between the forks and does an awesome job at it .Easy install no issues

Does as advertised and looks good. As far as BUFFERING it helps some but I purchased it to have more air flow on the front cylinder due to my 03 Flhtcui being air cooled. After installing it I’ve noticed a drop in air temp.

The Kuryakyn 1100 Air Management Accessory is a must for any motorcycle enthusiast!! It is some added bling to the front of your bike and most importantly it diverts some air from hitting your face. I notice enough of a difference with the addition of the Wind Deflector to recommend it to everyone who wants to give it a shot. Trust me, its worth it and it takes a few minutes to install. 2003 Harley Electra Glide Classic

Only negative thing I can say - this should have been something that Harley designed and included on the bike.I have a '19 Road Glide, and was always getting a lot of wind coming up between the tank and the fairing. This eliminated that. (Yes, I've ran my bike with the vents open, and closed - and tbh, never noticed any difference). I've also noticed that I can hear my radio above 70 mph now!Installation is super easy. Takes longer to grab the tools than to install. Fit is perfect. Chrome finish excellent.No negatives at all. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone riding a RoadGlide.

Kuyakyn Part # 1804: Perfect fit on my 2018 Ultra Limited. Easy install, less than 10 minutes. Remove two bolts and position deflector and replace bolts. EASY!Made from metal and chrome. Works exceptionally well. I had one on my 04 Electra Glide and 16 Road Glide. I forgot all about it when I bought the 2018 Ultra. I wear a half helmet and it kept pushing up from the air. The Kuryakyn 1804 wind deflector made a world of difference and was certainly worth it.

Gave as a gift to a friend with a 2016 Street Glide Special It fit perfect and wen on in about 5 minutes. It does block some of the wind that hits your chest. I would buy it agian. it was good quality, just a nice as any other Kuryakyn product that i have used. It is made out of metal, and the chrome is very good. No blemishes.

This fit perfect on my 2018 FLHTK. The chrome quality was surprisingly good at this price level. Installation was a breeze and took about 15 minutes and looks great. Now the wind will flow down towards the engine instead up up the tank and into my face.

I just put this on my 2017 road glide ultra. Rode for an hour with all the fairing vents closed and noticed very little turbulence coming up through the fork tunnel in the fairing. Usually running with the vents open helps equalize the air pressure behind the fairing wich cut down on air flow coming up through the fork tunnel. Closing the vents increased the air coming up through the tunnel causing a lot of air to hit my face and under my visor on my shorty helmet causing a lot of turbulence. With this gadget in and vents closed I noticed significantly less air coming up from underneath. Well worth the investment.

every one i spoke to said these took all the wind from above away. for the price and ease of install i am happy with this but just expected less wind.
