Works with the Kuryakyn 6240 grips. Reduces fatigue in holding on the throttle for long rides. Fit and finish is great.

I've bought many things from Kuryakin, mostly throttle parts for three different bikes and I like the black grips best. The chrome parts actually rusted on me is why I buy the black grips. I bought the grips and stiletto end caps and the throttle bosses. Unfortunately they don't last forever, but I can say I got my moneys worth out of them. I also tried other brands out there and this brand last longest. I can IMHO recommend their products.

Love it I rest my palm on left side, instead of gripping

Don’t have cruise on my bike so hand is always on the throttle, this really gives your hand a rest and lets you palm put in the work. Really helps with long rides, took a few adjustment the first couple times, had to find the sweet spot but once I did it was smooth sailing.

Great quality, easy install, takes pressure off wrist and grip for those long cruises. Highly recommended

I have always used the smaller version of this but decided to switch to the larger because I tend to ride with my hands at the outside edge of the grips. It’s more comfortable and gives me more room to adjust my hand while staying on the throttle boss. Great product and looks great

EL único problema que le veo es que la posición ideal para mi queda justo entre dos barrenos de los tornillos, por lo que tengo que ponerlo, o arriba, o abajo...

Works well. I've done several hundred miles already. Very easy to install. But, it has to go with the Kuryakin ISO grip, which is also easy to install on a 2009 Vulcan.I thought of getting the smaller version of this (the triangular) because if you set it up high it can interfere with how you grab the grip, whereas the small one may not since you have enough of a grip left. This is about 1/4 (or a little less) the length of the grip. I set mine lower (it's very adjustable) and it's comfortable.I have a much more comfortable wrist ride with this. Even the cheap plastic ones that go over the grip cost some $10. Spend a few bucks more (I think I bought this for $15 or 17) and get this one. It's one-time expense and looks so much nicer.

The Boss looks great on the bike, but I have two problems with it, one major and one minor.First, It does not have full 360 degree adjustment capability. If you look closely at the photo, you will see the four circular channels through which the mounting screws attach. This means you get about 60 degrees of adjustment motion before it hits a hard stop. Then you have to remove it and there is about a 30 degree jump to the next channel. So of course my previously installed ISO grips had the mounting screw holes at just the wrong location to put the Boss at the optimum location for my use. So I can only position it too high or too low.Second, I would have made the paddle lever about 1/2 inch shorter, but that is a personal preference.Still, it looks very nice on the bike and is not completely useless as the lower position does give some wrist relief. If I could position it about 15 degrees higher, it would get 5 stars.

I've been using a plastic Cramp-Buster for a while, and really like the fact that I can loosen my grip on the throttle without having the throttle move when riding on long trips. I ordered this to match my Kury ISO Grips, so I would have a more uniform look, and a throttle assist that doesn't lose its position like the Cramp Buster (one bump and it spins around).Install was quick and easy... unscrew the 4 screws on the grip end-cap, put the Throttle Boss in place, and replace the end-cap using the included "longer" screws. It takes a bit of time to get the Throttle Boss exactly where you want it, but once it is set in the right position, you'll never know it's there! If you have Kury Grips, and frequently ride at a few miles or more at highway speeds (steady throttle position), then you'll really want to pick one of these up... Contoured (larger one) or the Standard (smaller one)... they make for less fatigue, which means you are able to ride longer!

I recently purchased the Kuryakyn ISO grips and wanted to get this Throttle Boss to go along with it. Not only does it look great on the bike it serves its purpose as well. Long rides often numb the hands and this little paddle makes a world of difference in being able to relax your throttle hand. I was shocked at how fast the item arrived at my home..just a few days. I expected it to be several more days when I opened the mail box and there it was. The product comes with 4 extra long screws that it needs for install and that was done within a matter of 2 minutes. MONEY WELL SPENT!
