Candy can be applied over any color Base Metallic coat but for your own custom color they can be applied over our pearls, Liquid, Sky, Rainbow XL colors etc. Custom Paints Inc have been providing Kustom Canz automotive and custom paints for over 20 years.

- Candy Colors are best applied over a Metallic Silver basecoat.
- Colors will dry to a flat finish
- All colors will require a 1K or 2K Clearcoat for final finish.
- Colors are also available in Pints, Quarts, Gallons and Touch up pens.
Product Application for Candy colors (3 Stage color):
- Always check color and spray a test panel before spraying your product or project
- Start by prepping your project as you would any other paint job Sand, Prime, etc.
- Shake Aerosol can for 3-5 minutes.
- Apply 2-3 coats of base coat color, leaving 10-15 minutes between coats
- Leave 45-60 minutes to ensure its fully flashed off before applying the Candy color
- Shake Aerosol can for 3-5 minutes.
- Apply 2-5 coats of the Candy color depending on the desired color required. Leave 10-15 minutes between coats
- Leave 60 minutes before applying a 1K or 2K Clearcoat
- We recommend our 2K Show Clear Aerosol cans for a show winning finish

It's not quite red, more of a magenta, but the paint quality is excellent. It flows really nicely, builds up quickly without running.

The Can won’t spray press when you press down on it got all over my hand all over the can pretty upsetting
