I am nine. I got the kwik soccer board for my birthday and I really love it .The quality is great, the magnets are super strong. The pocket is sometimes difficult to get magnets out. Itis more convenient to put the magnets on the board area, than to be in the pocket. The magnets are strong enough if they are on the board that they won’t get lost, or fall off. I would recommend keeping the magnets on the board instead of putting them in the pocket. The soccer trainer session pad covers the top of the pocket which can be inconvenient. I would really recommend that you buy it.

My dad has always loved this board so I searched it up to get it again. Point blank though it’s very cheap and not worth the price but he loves it so I’ll just keep buying it. But honestly it breaks so easily the two pieces completely tear apart from each other from folding it over time. I think it’s just cardboard with the plastic over each side, so if you’re looking for durability to last this is not your product. However it’s cute and the magnetic part is really useful +the magnet pouch. No other ones like that I’ve seen so I’d still buy. Just make the price match the durability!!

I'm a fan of this board for my U9 Boys team - during practice. They get really focused on the magnets being moved around the board in the short bursts of occasional instruction I give them around simple tactics. You can only keep their attention for 30-45 seconds, so I don't use it that much, and I would stay away from using it during games as it'd be too easy to lose pieces into the grass during the frenetic action, so I go with a whiteboard in those circumstances. I use it frequently with my boys at home who like moving the magnets around as well, and having an extra one in each color in case one gets lost is a nice idea. I've never used the team sheets, instead handling that on computer before games. Overall the board and the plastic pouch feel a little marginal on quality - the green cover does not fit just right, I'd have preferred a half-field layout on one panel in addition to the full-field layout, and the plastic pouch could use to be a tad bigger - but it does the jobs I got it to do quite nicely.

Very helpful tool for a soccer coach. I've coached youth club soccer for several years and I use this magnet board frequently. I also use a marker board, but sometimes this is the better tool for helping kids visualize a concept as the board can quickly become a dry-erasable mess. The spine has started to tear at the top and bottom, but only after years of use and being chucked in the bag, pulled out in the rain, repeat. I don't use the notepad, but it could be useful for some. Might as well go ahead and get yourself some of these . You'll lose the magnets. Probably the black one--the ball--first. Pro tip: When presenting a concept to the team, use sound effects while moving the magnets for enhanced coaching effect.

As a house and all-star league coach, this product worked well during practice and less competitive games. However, during a highly competitive game or if you have just a few minutes during a short break, the magnets just get in the way. Sure, the magnets demonstrate the player positions but isn't flexible enough to articulate the direction of the players or the team play strategy.I ended up just going back to the trusty dry erase marker and a board to quickly draw arrows, player identifying numbers or letters, and the play itself. Every second counts on the field and just couldn't afford wasting time looking pretty with the magnets. Also, having all the magnets on the board to explain one play then trying to make a point with just a few players requires moving all of the other magnets to reduce clutter and distraction. Also, because the magnets all look the same, the players often get confused just looking at all the magnets.Strongly recommended for assistant coach, but not for the head coach for use during a game.

Why would you include a pad of paper that is so long that it covers the pouch to hold the magnets?

I love this magnetic board! I can put the little round magnets on the board to demonstrate some plays, close it with the magnets in the position they're in, throw the clipboard in a backpack and drive home, open the backpack, and the magnets haven't budged from their position! Very cool!Attached to the right hand side of the foldable clipboard is a button pouch that holds all of your round magnets (12 red, 12 blue, 2 yellow, 1 black). The clipboard side contains a book's worth of practice sheets. On one side: A Training Session Planner, allowing you to write down the date, time, location and duration of your practice (as well as other info), and then below that is a chart where you can plot out what you're going to do in your practice, including the amount of time you'll allot to each drill or event. On the back of the page you have a top and bottom half. The top half is a soccer field and the bottom half is a Notes area. There I'll take notes about the practice session, including notes on player performances, effectiveness of drills, etc. It's nice and thin and I'm carrying it with me at all times in practice. Get one for yourself and be the talk of the town.

The board and magnets provide a practical way to visualize formations to my soccer team for pre-game and half time adjustments. I wanted to go with a small clipboard versus a white board as I already have a lot to carry. The magnets stick to the green field area. There is a small storage area for the magnets when they aren't in use. Plus I also can easily store pieces of paper that I commonly have at the match. There are extra magnets for the teams and one for the ball and two for the keepers. The board says it comes with a lifetime guarantee too.
